Multiple curries
I recently ordered a selection of curries from Chef Akila and I must say, I was really impressed with the whole experience. The ordering process was super easy, the packaging was top-notch, and the delivery was very fast. The cooking instructions that came with the curries were really useful and spot on. Out of the six curries we tried, four were absolutely amazing and we will definitely be ordering them again. Although the butter paneer was tasty, it was a tad too rich for my liking. My husband, who usually loves Keema, felt that it was a bit lacking in flavour this time. On the other hand, we both absolutely loved the spinach Dahl kootu and Granny's lamb curry. The lamb curry had a wonderful taste and the meat was so tender. Overall, we were really impressed with Chef Akila and we will definitely be ordering from them again.
Indian cuisine purchase
I recently ordered some Indian food from this place and I’ve gotta say, the dishes were absolutely amazing! The flavours were so good and the portions were really big. I was really impressed by how fresh all the ingredients were, it really made the food stand out compared to other places. They did a great job with the packaging as well, everything stayed frozen until it got to me. These dishes were way better than any other takeout I’ve had before, even beating the stuff you get at the supermarket. The prices were fair, similar to other local takeaways, but the quality of the food made it worth every penny. I just wish I had more space in my freezer so I could stock up on these yummy meals and get free delivery.

I love cooking and I can confidently rate my cooking a whopping 70%, I also like trying new recipes. I was inviting my friends for lunch and I wanted to prepare something spectacular and wonderful. Frozen chicken curry
I must say, I was really surprised by how good the frozen chicken curry I got from this place was. Normally with curries, there's a bit of an oily taste left, but not with this one. Using chicken thigh meat instead of the usual breast meat made a big difference, it tasted more like something you'd get from a proper restaurant rather than a takeaway. It felt like I was getting top-notch food delivered right to my door. The packaging was great too, the container kept everything nice and frozen until I was ready to cook. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who fancies a tasty curry without the faff of going out to eat.

The frozen food delivery was really easy to order and the customer service was amazing. I needed to change the delivery date and they sorted it out straight away. When the food arrived, I just put it in the freezer and when it was time to eat, I cooked it straight from frozen in the oven or microwave. It was delicious! I've already ordered more and told all my friends about it.
Paneer curry, excellent quality
The paneer curry from this place is definitely the best I've ever tasted. The food is really high quality and truly authentic Indian cuisine. It beats any take away I've ever had, hands down. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the size of the portions; they are huge! They could easily divide them into two containers. I ended up having to cut a couple of dishes in half because there was just so much food, which was a bit of a hassle. But overall, the curry itself was absolutely amazing.

The curries from this place are proper tasty, mate! I got myself a lamb curry and a chicken chettinad recently, and they went down a treat with my family. I got some takeaway from this place not too long ago and I was really impressed with how tasty and authentic the food was. The flavours were just right and you could really taste the quality ingredients they used in every dish. That being said, I reckon they could work on being a bit more organised. It would be handy if they had some ready-to-go meals in the freezer for those spontaneous takeaway nights. Despite that, I have to say I was pretty impressed with how delicious everything was overall.

The food in this place is really tasty, I can't deny that. But, the containers they use are a bit of a pain. They tend to crack easily, which makes it tricky to transfer the food onto a plate without causing a mess. It's not a big deal, but it definitely does impact the whole dining experience.

I recently got some food delivered from this place and the whole experience was great. The food tasted really good and it came on time. But, I reckon they could make a few tweaks when it comes to the minimum order amount for free delivery. I reckon it would be good if they lowered the threshold a bit or gave discounts to certain groups like pensioners. Just a thought!

Prawn curries delivery with additional items
I ordered some prawn curries from Chef Akila recently and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my order arrived. They even threw in 2 extra prawn curries, a really nice touch. But, after getting my order, I asked about an invoice for the extra items but haven't got it yet. It would be great if Chef Akila could send me an invoice for those 2 prawn curries so I can pay for them soon. All in all, I was happy with the delicious food and fast delivery service from Chef Akila.
Delicious and ample portions for 2
As someone who loves good food, I gotta say, the meals at this place are simply unbeatable. The flavours are amazing, the portion sizes are spot on, and I left feeling totally satisfied.
