Recent food order
The most recent delivery I got from this company was really impressive. The box turned up on time and was packaged really well to make sure everything inside stayed fresh and in one piece. This time, I mostly ordered chicken, which was just like my last order. I've got to tell you, the taste of the whole chickens once they were cooked was genuinely amazing. Each piece had a lot of meat on it, enough to last me and my husband for three meals and even make a tasty chicken sandwich. The hake was fantastic too, really tasty and cooked to perfection with butter. It was meaty and full of flavour. The calves liver, cooked with bacon, onions, and carrots in a rich tomato sauce was another standout dish. The liver was very tender and had a delicate flavour that went really well with the savoury sauce. All in all, I was really impressed once again with the quality and taste of the products from this company. I can't wait for my next order!
High-quality products with individual packaging
I've been a customer for quite a few years now and I've always been really impressed with the quality of the products I've ordered. The fact that they're individually packed makes it so much easier and also helps reduce waste, which I think is great. However, I was really gutted when I found out they've stopped selling kippers, they were my absolute favourite! I really hope they keep offering calf's liver and those delicious sausage rolls though, as they're personal faves of mine. It's always a struggle not to order too much because I've got limited space in my freezer at home. But all in all, my experience shopping with this company has been really positive.
Excellent quality meat
I must say, the cuts of meat I got from this place were absolutely superb. Being a bit of a meat enthusiast, I have to admit that the quality was top-notch. The delivery was speedy and the packaging was done carefully, ensuring the meat arrived fresh and in perfect condition. I used to live near Lyon, famous for its amazing food, and I can confidently say that the meat from this place is up there with the best. The website is easy to use and I really like the detailed cooking instructions they provide. It's like having your own local butcher just a few clicks away. My freezer is now always packed with delicious treats from here.
Ready meals
I have bought numerous fresh meat meals from dr. Fantastic. Ready meals average at best. Was sceptical especially about risotto as I have been cooking it for years. Sorry, rubbish! Soggy rice with chicken and not good ham. D R stick to what your good at and forget the rest!!!

Big illustration of a burger in a roll with bacon and cheese topping. What arrived was 2 burgers with bacon and cheese mixed up with the burger ingredients. False advertising!!!! I have been a customer of nearly 20 years. I'm disgusted. I would never pay £5 for two burgers. Very, very disappointed.

Chateaubriand purchase
I recently bought a Chateaubriand from this company and I have to say, I was really impressed. The delivery was fast and the packaging was excellent. The Chateaubriand itself was gorgeous and so tender, and the cooking instructions they gave were perfect. I couldn't find any faults with this purchase - it was honestly a lovely dining experience.
Healthy meals with quality products
I've been getting my food from this place for ages and I still love their stuff, especially the crab claws and salmon fillets. The venison and mushroom burgers are so good and hardly leave any fat when you cook them. I used to get the chicken legs and turkey escalopes because they were perfect for healthy meals, but I haven't seen them lately. I hope they bring them back because they were my fave.

I've been buying from you for ages and I've always been really impressed with your stuff. The beef is tasty and tender every time, and your prawns are just amazing. My last order had a bit of everything I usually get, and I was really happy to see the free beef rib trim that came with it because I'd spent a certain amount. It was so good that even my mother in law decided to make another order herself. I bought some really good stuff from this company not long ago, and it was all great until something went wrong. But when I had to deal with their customer service, they were not very helpful. Delayed delivery and poor customer service
I recently made an order with this company, but, to my disappointment, it didn't come when it was supposed to. When I got in touch with customer service, they told me the delay was because of their couriers, but I didn't think that was a good enough reason. We went back and forth a bit, and eventually, they sent me a replacement order. However, I wasn't offered any compensation for the hassle and upset that the original delay had caused me. As a customer, I'm really let down by the customer service and the ordering system in place.
Periperi chicken, Pork steaks, rump, sirloin, and salmon
As a retired person and recently widowed, I don't shop as much anymore. However, I did try Peri-peri chicken for the first time recently and I really enjoyed it. The pork steaks, rump, and sirloin were all tender and delicious. I even shared the salmon from my February delivery with my neighbour as a thank you, and she really liked it. Overall, I'm really happy with the service and products and I would definitely recommend this company to others.
Chateaubriand, mince, and cheesecakes
The products I got from my recent shop were top-notch. I've never had chateaubriand before, but it looked amazing. I can't wait to try cooking it in the slow cooker with shallots and gravy, and maybe chuck in some veggies too. The mince was, as usual, scrumptious and never lets me down. And for dessert, I treated myself to a variety of cheesecakes, which were equally delicious and of great quality.
