would the site play silly buggers with my basket, would perishables survive the trip, and would I be chasing refunds? Turned out the food actually tasted proper good, so that worry eased a bit. Trouble was, the tech and logistics were a mess. My first order got charged several times when I tweaked the dishes, someone rang to say an item was out, and one delivery had rice scattered under the insulation that looked alarmingly like droppings until we realised a film had come off. Third delivery never arrived and after watching it head off up country I got an email refund with no real chat or phone follow-up. So yes, grateful the meals were tasty and not spoiled, but not thrilled with the rest. Won’t say never again, but I’ll be double-checking everything and maybe not rely on the chat box next time.
Finally found a meal service that actually works for me
absolutely delighted — this is the closest thing I've found to hassle-free, tasty ready meals. I needed a proper service because I was fed up with bland, over-spiced boxes and the faff of sourcing ingredients after long days at work. Also, bit of a back issue meant I couldn't be on my feet cooking every night, so convenience plus decent food was essential. Anyway, conclusion first: Nuuda does the job well — really well, actually.
