Customer service experience
I had a bit of a frustrating time with the customer service at that supermarket recently. I tried calling their customer service helpline to get some help updating my account info, but the instructions they gave me weren't much help at all. To top it off, the call ended suddenly, so I didn't get my issue sorted. It's really annoying to come across such poor service, especially when you're trying to sort out important account stuff.
Grocery delivery
I'm not too happy with how the online grocery platform charges for delivery. It's annoying that they add an extra fee for certain times, especially when I can't choose the cheaper slots because of my work hours. It doesn't seem fair to charge more just because of when I need my groceries. Even though it might not be much, it doesn't feel right for loyal customers like me who are juggling work and family duties. I think there should be more flexibility in the delivery choices to suit different schedules without having to pay extra.
General
Have a Tesco other side of the road. Never had problems, always liked. First negative feeling appear after new self-checkouts so annoying. Only card. But most annoying. When runing quickly to get something like vine before movie or before closing. And have no car keys with club card or phone for that dam ... info ... bar code. And have to pay full ridiculous price. F tesco only freaking store have this sh. I. T.. Hate!!!
Shopping £250 worth
Absolutely disgusted with Tescos today … shopping due 3-4pm … it’s now 9.44pm been told they can’t get shopping out ….!
Told they maybe able to deliver tomorrow 2-3pm but they will have to take another payment as they’ve refunded today’s shop money …. But it won’t show on my acct for 3-5 days …. So I have to go overdrawn to pay for my shopping!! Absolutely beggars beliefFood

Groceries
I have been online shopping for years, way before the pandemic. The staff at Sprowston Norwich click and collect are wonderful, they are chirpy, welcoming, always give 100% and great service. I very rarely receive substitutes but when I do they are almost always suitable. If they are not, it's not the end of the world.. I just pop in to see if there is something else available, because remember the staff can only pick what is available on the day. If the substitute is not suitable, just hand it back and they refund it within 48hrs. The price for click and collect is extremely reasonable especially for me who hates spending my time doing the weekly shop! I was really pleased when they expanded the collection points from 1 to 3 so more shoppers can load simultaneously. A tip for other shoppers who are less than pleased and quick to complain- try using the notes when selecting your items, you can ask for longest dates on things, specify a substitute you'd like in case of unavailability and even specify if you'd like green or yellow bananas!

went in to get some cat food in Midsomer Norton store 3.5.21,the music was DEAFENING .it was like being in a nightclub.I will be not shopping in there anymore after 14 years

Disgusting, full of lumps of fat, i hate to think what their standard sausages have in them!
Jolly Hog Sausages
Lovely bangers, very tasty, just the right amount of seasoning and made with outdoor bred lean meat, hardly any fat left in the pan after cooking. Highly recommended and well worth the reasonable price.
Tesco finest chips (Black packet)
Tesco did a bait and switch. They released a tesco finest chip that was very very good, started at £1 went up to £1.35 and was then switched out for a terrible chip, they removed finests from the packet but sold it as the same item for the same price. It remained in my favourite list even though it was a totally different product. Bait and switch, surely you have enough money to not act like this tesco?
click and collect
I now use the click and collect service due to the virus. I had not needed this service prior to the virus. I just have to say that it was the best thing I have done. An excellent service but I wanted to say how lovely the young staff at these pickup points behave. They are kind and respectful, which is so nice.
If Tesco had same day and fast delivery life would be just so much easier, I have an extremely difficult schedule. Tesco's delivery is not good at the moment.
Groceries home delivery
Positive:
As we are in isolation we have decided to get everything delivered to the house. I was personally interested to see the whole experience.
I have received everything I ordered. As they didn’t have avocados they substituted it with more toilet papers and nicer bottle of wine which I am overly ok with.
Negative:
We have received all groceries in 12 plastic bags which was a massive disappointment. I mean really?? 12 bags that I cannot recycle? I thought Tesco is trying to be better than Amazon in grocery deliveries - if that’s so this is definitely something they need to work on. Honestly this really put me off and because of this I don’t think I will be shopping with Tesco again. Next time we are going to try Aldi and Amazon again.I did not enjoy the Crunchy and Creamy Coleslaw at all. It was very acidly,
Hi we bought a frozen turkey from Dorchester Dorset store and we fill it was really rubbish boney with little meat ruined our Christmas dinner could not go anywhere because of the COVID-19 us being high risk as told by doctors a good response would be nice.

Tesco’s finest pork sausages
Could not believe the amount of fat in these I grilled them and had a large ramekin of liquid ,when set was solid fat we threw away remaining sausages, how unhealthy is this I have nothing positive to say about this product I’m quite surprised Tesco sells these.

Beware ordering a meal deal online. One item was missing and consequently the savings you think you are going to get disappear. You do get some discount but nothing like you would have got had the items been available. Crazy thing was that the particular item they said they couldn't deliver was still showing as available Total savings on order as presented should have been £11.58. Actual savings £5.44 and minus the bottle of wine i ordered. Never again Tesco

Fresh produce
As I am 77and in lockdown I rely on click and collect all the fresh produce I ordered was either on its way out or inedible.

I bought these on my last order and I can honestly say they are the worst bread rolls I have ever had. They are like eating raw dough. I normally find Tesco finest to be really good quality but these have let it down. I would like to say that I have been having deliveries from you for many years now and have found all of the delivery drivers to be wonderful and a credit to the company.
