one supermarket brand seemed to cause grim litter-tray consequences. Not household drama anyone wants. With Thrive, their stomachs are calmer, and the smell is less eye-watering. I tried several varieties before settling on a rotation. Ocean fish and mackerel get the quickest response; chicken and liver is reliably popular. Beef and veg was tolerated, though the peas were treated with suspicion and left behind like green insults. The fish tins look like fish, with proper chunks rather than anonymous mush. The portions suit both cats, so there’s less for the larger one to nick. It isn’t cheap, admittedly, but seeing them healthy, content and finishing meals makes the extra cost worth it.
Doubts mostly settled
After a bad experience with another company, I was a bit wary ordering direct. Mine was delayed and I had to chase by email, which wasn’t great, but they did resend it and it turned up fine. Still no reply to my follow-up question, though. Not perfect, but better than I first feared.
That moment I knew
by the time the tin's half empty it's mostly crumbs and powder, a bit annoying but still worth it.
