Honestly, these are proper organic sheets — I'll say that straight away. They fit our 18" mattress (which other brands never did), are made responsibly and are actually comfy. The ivory colour looks warm and cosy, and after a wash they kept a lovely softness — oddly pleased by that. I sleep better knowing it's healthier bedding.

Smelly bed, smelly returns
the pad looked and felt fine but had a persistent smell that gave me headaches, so I had to send it back. That’s the boring bit. The annoying bit is the returns dance afterwards. I told customer service I hadn’t used it, they acted like I was fibbing, then promised a return label and said they’d take £18 for postage. Fair enough, I thought. Then my refund landed and they’d taken £35.57 with no explanation. No call, no email, nothing. I’m not after a fight, just clarity and not paying for someone else’s mistake. If you’re sensitive to smells or nervous about tricky returns, buy via Amazon where the process is straightforward — saves you time and a headache. On the plus side, the pad itself seems well made; shame about the smell and the opaque refund. Felt a bit let down, honestly.
A quieter night, but not perfect
bamboo sheets, sateen sheets, a green muslin throw and the MyWoolly latex topper from Sleep & Beyond. First impressions: the topper actually made the biggest difference. My old hip ache has eased and I sleep deeper; it’s supportive without feeling like a hospital mattress, and it does breathe better than foam did for me. The bamboo sheets are very soft and cool — perfect if you overheat — though they don’t have that glossy satin look, which I liked. The sateen set feels more substantial, properly cosy for colder nights, but I did notice it traps a touch more warmth than the bamboo. The green muslin blanket is light and useful for layering; colour is calming and it doesn’t scream “new”. Delivery was straightforward and packaging was tidy, maybe a bit excessive in places, but nothing dramatic. Customer service answered a question I had quickly, polite and practical. Overall, my initial worries have mostly faded, though the price still feels on the high side compared with some other brands I’ve tried. If you’ve had cheap toppers flatten after a few months like I did, this one is worth considering — just be prepared to spend a bit more for that comfort. I’m pleased, a little relieved, and sleeping better.
