So I bought two different wallets in separate orders and it turned into a mess. The first parcel arrived as an empty box — nothing inside — which felt like a bad joke, and then they asked me to pay extra postage for them to resend it because it was 'their mistake'. Getting a refund was a faff; they only offered to refund postage first, and I had to chase for the rest. The second order I paid extra to get it quicker; tracking showed arrival as 15 January 2024 but it dragged on. Bit disappointed, I'd warn others and hope they fix customer care.
Tiny keepsake, big disappointment
just automated links to the help page, no real help. On the upside the material feels okay, but the likeness and the way they handled it left me feeling let down.
Not what I hoped
Had high hopes and ordered two wallets for my dad and my boyfriend for Christmas. They arrived a day early, which felt like a win, but when I opened them the excitement drained away. The material is thin and a bit plasticky, quite stiff, and the "engraved" photos look like low-resolution prints glued on rather than anything etched in. I found myself poking at the stitching and rubbing the surface, thinking maybe I'd missed something, but nope. I nearly didn’t give them as gifts. The site also says no returns unless defective and all their reviews are oddly shiny, which made me wary. At least they came early, so I had time for Plan B.
Surprise wins
proper weight to it, a nice matte finish, colours haven’t gone garish, feels like it’ll last. The other was a bit disappointing — slightly washed out, maybe they ran low on ink or something, so it wasn’t quite the same level of finish. Still, the thought counted and the recipients loved them, which made me happy. The team gave me a small discount for the fuss and that made me decide I’ll order again — I’m even thinking of getting one for myself next time, maybe two, ha. All in all grateful it worked out and I’d try them again.

I was sceptical at that point, frankly ready to write it off, but stuck with them because the first order a year earlier had been fine. Their preview e-mail even admitted it looked awful, yet the item arrived even worse. Cue more emails, a lot of repeating myself, and an agent who felt a bit robotic — polite but utterly unhelpful.
But here's the bit where it flips: after a bit of pushing and basically re-ordering (annoying, yes), they actually sent a replacement. I opened it on a grim little bench at the airport, braced for disappointment, and for the first time I smiled. The photo was corrected, features clear, and honestly, that tiny second of relief was worth it. Not perfect — I paid extra for faster shipping that was still late — but the product itself, once they finally listened, was gift-ready.
If you use them, two tips: upload the clearest photo you have and chase customer support early, don’t assume the preview fixes everything. I’d probably use them again cautiously; just wish the communication and delivery were less of a palaver.
