Bought a few bits at the Brighton branch and, annoyingly, most of them fell apart within a fortnight. I can’t be bothered going back for swaps with staff who seem indifferent, though one assistant was oddly polite. Would tell mates to check things in person first or ask about an easy return.
Strange delivery, slow refund
Left the stocking fillers for Christmas and the parcel never arrived — a random box of other bits showed up. I sent photos, waited ages for replies, they eventually refunded me. Annoying it took so long, but glad it's sorted; I'll use the refund for morning coffees.
Small win, big hassle
Bought a thing and got a scratch card. It felt like a gimmick. It said I'd won a £5 voucher, but to use it they wanted all my personal details first. Voucher then failed to work. Contacting them was pointless — kept getting bounced around. Felt like time drain. If they offer a scratch card, I'd pass it back. Bit annoying.
Box issues spoilt it
Spotted this on a mate’s Insta and nearly didn’t buy — I was wary because reviews mentioned packing. Took the plunge after they recommended it. Order process was fine, and everything seemed there, but the outer box was crushed and inner box unsealed. Bit annoying, quality felt OK though, not brilliant.
A bit hit-and-miss
I first saw this lamp tucked on a shelf at Menkind after a mate pointed it out. I was a bit sceptical, but staff swapped the missing-remote one without any hassle and I felt reassured. The new lamp gave a nice, soft warm glow and the remote felt responsive for about ten minutes, then it suddenly stopped — so pleased at first, then annoyed, really.
Half the party panic
Was buying bits for two little boys — birthday on Sunday — and only one parcel turned up. The toy itself feels solid and the boys were chuffed, but the missing item caused a proper headache. Customer service asked for daft photos and took ages, though in the end they replaced it. Glad it worked out, but the ordering could be smoother.
Helpful service, tiny delivery snag
brilliant customer care, despite a bit of a delivery mix-up. I ordered on 10 December for home delivery and, annoyingly, didn’t spot that home delivery wasn’t running over Christmas — my fault, I missed the note on the website. I emailed customer service and within five minutes they’d replied, said they’d cancel the order and sort a refund. Lovely, really. I first found them online and I’ve even told a friend about them — still recommend, just watch the dates.
Almost there
I bought two hoodies because my old one fell apart and I’ve got a dodgy back, so I needed something comfy for evenings. Only one arrived and after a week of back-and-forth emails I opened a PayPal dispute — that’s the moment I finally felt relieved, when PayPal refunded the missing one. Menkind kept saying distribution handled it, so the service felt slow and a bit shruggy, but at least the refund sorted it in the end.
Last-minute save but rubbish online handling
one saying my refund would take 5–7 days, another saying the order was shipped, then one saying it had been received — I mean, who knows? It’s sloppy and confusing, and I’ve had to chase them more than I should. If you need something for a deadline, don’t rely on their timings. Tip: buy in person if you’re short on time, and keep return proof handy. Bit weary of the whole process, but at least the kid was happy in the end.
Small mistake, odd refund
decent handling of the address and a usable product, but watch the billing. A bit more transparency would sort it. My advice: check your address and push for the full refund if needed.
Nearly panicked, but actually pleased
they processed a replacement and got things moving. Delivery was a bit slower than promised, yes, but once it was picked up it arrived in good nick and the gifts were exactly what I wanted. Not perfect, there was some faff, but the team were friendly and fixed it, and I’m genuinely grateful they did. So, would I buy again? Probably — just give yourself a bit of time.
Cool present
I was looking for a birthday present for my friend and wanted something interesting. I came across a really cool gift at this store with a lot of great stuff. They had so many options, it was difficult to decide on just one! I chose the cheapest delivery and it arrived the very next day, which was fantastic. I'm really pleased with what I bought, I know my friend is going to love it!
Gadgets and gifts
I have to say, I was really impressed with the staff at that store. They were so friendly and went out of their way to help me find the best gadgets and gifts. It was obvious that they knew what they were talking about and even had details about when the next stock would be in. The store was also really well-organised and clean, which made shopping there a pleasant experience. All in all, it was a great visit thanks to the lovely staff members.
Gift items
The gifts I bought were really good quality and ideal for giving to someone. However, the packaging could have been improved. Even though the items were fragile, the box arrived open. Thankfully, everything inside was fine. On the whole, I would be happy to buy from this company again in the future.
Technology gadgets
I recently bought some tech gadgets from this shop and I have to say, I was really impressed with the whole thing. Ordering was a breeze, easy to find what I wanted and checkout was simple. The service was top-notch - quick replies to my questions and helpful advice all the way through. The prices were fair for the quality and features of the products. Plus, the delivery was super quick, arriving well packed and in perfect condition.
Father's Day gifts
My recent purchase of Father's Day gifts went really smoothly. I found the ordering process really easy to use, so I could quickly pick out and buy the things I wanted. The gifts arrived within a reasonable time frame and were just like they had been described on the website. I didn't have any problems with my order and I'm happy with my overall shopping experience at the store.
Awesome customer service
The customer service at that place was amazing! They really went out of their way to make me feel special and valued. From helping me find the perfect product to answering all my questions with a smile, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would definitely recommend this store to all my friends and family. They really know how to treat their customers like royalty!
Father's Day gift
I bought a present for Father's Day and it arrived all squashed in a bubble wrap envelope. Now I have to send it back because the box got all crumpled. It's pretty annoying, to be honest.
Sci-fi merchandise
I recently bought some sci-fi stuff from this shop and I have to say, it was a brilliant experience all round. The range of products was spot on for my tastes, and the staff were really nice and knew their stuff about what they had in store. The shop had a really welcoming vibe, and I felt relaxed as I looked around and chose what I wanted. The quality of the stuff was top-notch too, which I liked as someone who cares about what I buy. All in all, I was really happy with my shopping trip to this store.
Funky gadgets
So, I was thinking of getting some cool gadgets from this place, but honestly, the customer service was terrible! They weren't helpful at all when I needed to return something because it was faulty. I mean, seriously, they need to step it up! I'll definitely steer clear of this place from now on.
