Right, so I accidentally ordered this thing (my bad), emailed for a refund like it asked and... silence. Sent another follow-up, nothing. Then the parcel turned up — I thought maybe they’d sorted it but nope, still no reply. I opened it, tried it, and honestly it’s worse than the pictures. At some point I just felt oddly satisfied though — satisfied that I’d stop chasing them and move on. Bit annoying to waste time, but relief kicked in when I decided not to bother with returns any more. If you value your time, maybe avoid them or double-check before you click. Didn’t ruin my day, but nagged at me for ages.
Half-fixed, half-happy
Mid-assembly I realised this was going to be a bit of work — the instructions were practically useless and some holes were off, so I improvised and swapped a snapped bolt for a sturdier one. I started using it the next day and there was a clear moment of relief when it lifted smoothly and didn’t wobble under my laptop. First impression was "cheap bits", but the motor does the job and the height range is fine. Not flawless, and a bit annoying to set up, but it’s usable and I’m actually content.
Sofa saga, ended well
box smashed, cushions missing, bits nowhere to be found. At first I was fed up — photos sent, told to wait two days for parts or a replacement, then silence. They replied eventually, promised a new set but no tracking, then said the item was out of stock and offered a refund. I chased a few times, rang, messaged; only when someone finally answered properly did things move. They arranged a replacement courier and confirmed a refund for the missing pieces, which actually showed up a few days later. The moment I knew it was sorted was the first evening I sat down with a cup of tea, cushions in place, no wobble, and the sofa felt like part of the living room. I use it every day for working, reading to kids and the odd nap — small things, but it makes a difference. Still, the whole process could have been handled better, but in the end I'm glad it worked out.
