the seller kept putting up tiny hurdles, then slightly bigger ones, just to get a refund. Eventually I did get some money back but only after I paid about £11 to post it back to China, which felt daft. The one thing that stuck with me was how easy it was to be misled by the product listing — their site says "works on Model S" so how is a buyer meant to verify that before purchase? On the plus side, once I escalated things I did get a partial refund, so I'm relieved it didn't end worse. Still, the whole process was annoying and slow, and I’d warn others to double-check reviews and ask for proof of compatibility first.
Not a scam, just messy
I almost didn't order this, honestly. The site promised delivery across Europe in two to five working days and that sounded almost too good — I was wary, thought it might be one of those empty promises. We needed a small fridge for the boot for a two‑week road trip with the cat (she only eats fresh meat, long story), so timing was the main concern. After ordering there were a few days of silence and then some patchy emails about a holiday at the warehouse. Not ideal, I kept asking if it was actually shipping from Germany and getting vague replies. Eventually they confirmed dispatch and it turned up a couple of days later — not as fast as the advert made out, but in time for the trip. Set up was easy, it kept the meat cold for the whole journey across several countries and fitted in the boot without fuss. So yes, I was sceptical at first because of the dodgy communication, but the unit did the job. Would I buy again? Probably, but only if delivery promises were clearer.

Small things, big hassle
I almost talked myself out of buying these. Saw the price and thought, fine—cheap covers, but can't be that bad. Fitted them on a wet Sunday afternoon. First glance, they looked alright. Then you touch them and the doubt creeps back in. Properly flimsy plastic. The odd design choice was the valve access — unless you fancy peeling the trim off every time, you need one of those long valve extenders and even then the cap is a fiddle to get off. A few weeks in, one of the little plastic tabs snapped while I was taking a trim off. No dramatisation, just popped. I rang customer service and that was the low point. They were quick to tell me it wasn't their problem, gave me a string of reasons to avoid honouring the 12 month warranty and then basically said I had to buy a whole set of four because they don't sell singles. I wanted one replacement bit. Instead I felt like I was being upsold out of principle. Minor annoyance turned into proper frustration. Would I buy again? No. Could have been handled better.
