I won’t be buying any more content packs for this app. We lost about £30 worth of bundles bought through Google Play (three separate purchases) and they just vanished from my daughter’s account. She’s nine and proper gutted, and honestly I was sceptical at first but now I’m annoyed. I tried the usual stuff — cleared the app and Play Store cache, logged out and back in, even reinstalled — nothing. I filled in the support form on their site and sent an email, no reply, not even an acknowledgement. I contacted Google Play too and the refund was turned down because the purchases were from 2023, so that was a dead end. There are loads of other reviews saying the same thing, so it doesn’t feel like a one-off. My takeaway (and bit of advice): screenshot receipts, keep proof of purchase and don’t repurchase until it’s fixed. I wish they’d respond and sort it, but for now we’re done and I’ve found cheaper offline games to cheer her up — small win, at least.
Small purchases, big problems
reinstall, log out and back in, reset settings, the lot. Nothing brought my purchases back. That’s the delivery problem here — digital purchases that aren’t delivered or restored when they should be. The second headache is customer service. I’ve raised tickets and messaged via the in-app support and email, multiple times over weeks, and I’ve had no meaningful response. A few canned replies would be better than radio silence. Performance is another issue; the app lags, crashes at odd times and sometimes resets bits of your world mid-session. I started using it again because my child enjoyed it before and I thought I’d top up a few items — instead it’s been a waste of time chasing fixes. There’s still some charm in the content, and when it works it’s OK, but until they sort out restoring purchases and actually answer customers, I wouldn’t rely on it. Feels like paying for something that isn’t being reliably handed over, and that’s frustrating.
