I’d bought from SuitReview before, so ordering two suits for my wedding felt fairly safe. One was ready to send and the other was made to order, with a quoted wait of around four weeks. The first suit did turn up, and honestly it looked great — the fit and fabric were exactly why I’d come back.
The suit was not the issue
Oddly, the bit I remember most is checking the tracking page before breakfast for weeks. I first came across Suit Review when a colleague turned up to a wedding in one of their suits and mentioned the site. I liked the look and, honestly, the prices seemed fair, so I ordered one myself. The suit itself is why I have not written them off completely. Their tailoring has generally been decent in my experience, and I have bought from them before. A mate I recommended them to has said much the same. But this latest order was a proper slog. The item showed as in stock and the website quoted seven to fourteen days. It did not arrive anywhere near that window. After around a month, I started emailing just to ask whether it had actually left the warehouse. No answer. I tried again, then used another email address because I genuinely wondered if my messages were being missed. Eventually someone replied, apparently the owner, saying he would personally keep an eye on the delivery. That sounded reassuring for about five minutes. Another fortnight passed, and a different reply told me the parcel had been lost in transit. I was already rather fed up by then, especially as there had been no proactive update at all. To be fair, once they accepted what had happened, a replacement was sent by priority delivery. It eventually turned up, and I was relieved rather than delighted. I appreciate that couriers can lose things, particularly during all the changing import rules, but customers should not have to chase basic information this hard. I still rate the suits, but the communication makes ordering feel like a gamble. That is a shame, because the product could easily earn repeat business.
Proper bit of care
I was in a bit of a panic because I needed a jacket for a work event—had been burned before by poor fits—so when they phoned on a Sunday to check my sizes I actually breathed a sigh of relief. The owner noticed I’d put both 36R and 36S on the order, asked a quick question, then dug through stock and sent the right 36S. It’s small, but that attention made all the difference. Felt genuinely looked after, which you don’t see much these days. Would recommend them without hesitation.

stuff gets listed before it’s in hand, so you’re basically paying for someone else’s gamble. Communication is slow too; I’d chase an update and only get an answer a week later, if at all. On the plus side, when the parcel finally arrived the tailoring was decent and it fit better than I expected, so I’m glad it wasn’t a total miss. Still, I’d warn others to double-check availability or be prepared to wait — and don’t assume expedited options exist. My advice: ask for concrete dates before you click buy. I hope they sort their stock and customer service out, because the product itself can be good, but the process needs fixing.
