They fixed a problem so well I’ll keep ordering from them — that’s the short version. I ordered a gift basket for next‑day delivery and everything seemed fine on my side; I had the tracking number. Then DHL didn’t deliver and left the parcel at their depot. Not the seller’s fault at all. I phoned and got Emma Phillips. She was calm and actually did something about it. She refunded the delivery charge and offered to send another basket for Saturday morning at no extra cost. I said Monday was fine, but that offer honestly surprised me — you don’t always get that. Emma also chased DHL and rang me back to explain what had happened, which felt reassuring. Small things could be smoother, maybe a short note in the parcel would’ve been nice, but that’s picky. All in all they handled it properly and I’d recommend them. If you need it urgently, keep an eye on the tracker, otherwise I’d say give them a go.
Pretty box, poor follow-through
I won’t be ordering from them again. I bought a keepsake baby trunk for £47 with gift wrapping because the listing and photos clearly showed a baby plaque, soft toy, scratch mitts, hat and booties — stuff the new parents could put on straight away when they left hospital. Packaging was actually lovely (oddly enough I didn’t want to open it), which was the only pleasantly surprising bit. But what arrived wasn’t what I’d paid for. Inside were a bib and a muslin cloth instead of the clothes they’d pictured and promised. Not the same thing at all, and not useful in the way I’d planned.
Felt present from afar
I'm genuinely chuffed — they made it possible for me to be part of my niece's baby shower from thousands of miles away. I couldn't get there because of work and a recent move, so sending something that actually felt special was important to me. I found a bouquet I liked on their site and, a bit nervously, emailed with a couple of questions about international delivery. Claire replied the next day, properly warm and helpful, which made the whole thing feel straightforward. Ordering was easy after that and they handled everything — payment, customs bits, the lot. The bouquet arrived in Istanbul in good time and my niece sent photos with it on the table; she even used it as the shower centrepiece so I felt there with her, which was really lovely.
