delivery turned up when promised, and customer service fixed my discount mistake without making me feel silly. Such a relief, really. It all went far more smoothly than I’d hoped.
Sale items, but a frustrating process
What started as a decent bargain turned into more hassle than it needed to be. Two days after paying, I was told the sale items I’d picked weren’t available in my chosen size and colour. I said any colour would do, thinking that would make things easier, but apparently clearance stock couldn’t be swapped like that. The really annoying bit was being offered store credit instead of a refund for items they couldn’t supply. I’ve had smoother experiences with other shops, so this felt pretty poor. In the end I chose a smaller size, and oddly enough it fits well, so at least that worked out. Still, I was relieved it fitted because I didn’t want to be stuck with credit. Probably won’t order again.
I’d look elsewhere next time
I needed this for a flat move, so the listed measurements really mattered. What turned up was much smaller than I’d expected, making it pretty useless for the space I had planned. I rang customer service a few times across two days but never got through. Ordering itself was simple enough, but that hardly makes up for it. Maybe it works for others, just not for me.

I wouldn’t buy from them again — decent idea, poor follow-through on returns. I first spotted Curvees on Instagram and even recommended them to a friend, but after buying the high-waisted mid-thigh shorts in L and XL I’m left a bit wary. The shorts arrived fine and looked okay in the pics, so I tried one pair on briefly over my underwear to check fit and then popped both back in the post. Seemed straightforward.
Then customer service (a rep called Lucia) got in touch and said they’d only refund the sealed one because the other had been worn and had stains. They attached a photo that, honestly, didn’t look like the version I’d sent back — the fabric in their pic looked a lot more worn. I’d not actually worn the returned pair beyond a quick try-on, so that felt like a kick in the teeth. I asked for clarification twice and heard nothing back.
On the plus side the delivery was prompt and the style is nice — I can see the idea — but the quality didn’t match other brands I’ve used and the whole returns handling was dodgy. If you’re going to try them, take photos or a video before posting anything; it saved my skin with other stores and I wish I’d done it here. Not a disaster, just disappointing: could be decent if they sorted their returns policy and customer service out.
