I first wore it for an early gym session and honestly expected it to be nice but nothing major. Wrong. It feels really soft, stays put when I’m moving, and somehow gives me a bit more confidence without feeling restrictive. The fit is especially good around the waist, which is usually where I get annoyed with sportswear. After a few washes it still looks and feels great too. It is pricier than what I’d normally pick, but once you’ve worn it, you sort of understand why. I’m already planning my next order, slightly dangerously.
Reward points that went nowhere
After spending more than £1,000, I expected the rewards scheme to be straightforward. I had a few doubts before ordering because I’d had poor service elsewhere, but went ahead anyway. Sadly, the points I earned can’t be used due to limits that weren’t clear upfront. The products may be fine, but this has left a sour taste. It feels unfair, and customer service hasn’t really helped.
Support stopped at sympathy
I only needed to sort a return, but it somehow turned into far more hassle than it should have been. The site kept playing up and, when I asked for help, I got sympathetic wording rather than an actual solution. What bothered me most was being charged to return something when the issue wasn’t mine. I went in expecting basic support, especially as I needed the return dealt with quickly, but came away feeling they were more interested in taking payment than keeping customers.
Small wins, annoying bits
heavier fabric, no annoying pilling, and yes, quite flattering. I bought a load over the years and generally liked how the leggings and tees wore. Lately though sizing has been all over the place. According to their chart I'm a small, but in their new Mohawk leggings I'm snug in a S while lots of other pieces fit as M. That inconsistency is maddening when you're buying online.
So I ordered uplift shorts and a fit tee in a M recently. The tee was actually nicely heavier than some of their older tops — felt substantial, which I liked. The shorts, though… they looked like an XS when I opened the parcel, tiny. They wear like underwear by late afternoon, which is not what I signed up for. I still have a pair of their shorts from 2020 in M and they’re fine, so it's not that I shrank or anything.
I returned them using the label they gave, but the returns process dragged. Post tried delivering the parcel and then it sat "out for delivery" for days. I rang customer service and spoke to Sam, and instead of help I got a defensive "we don't control the mail" line — which felt like shrugging responsibility. Fine, postal delays happen, but if people are spending their money it's reasonable to expect more care.
I'm a bit conflicted: I like the feel of certain items and might buy again if they sort sizing and bring back longer shorts — six inch would be perfect. Short-term I'm waiting for a clear fix or a good sale before I click buy again.
