the cases themselves are fine, but the aftercare was a mess. I first saw these Terreno cases on a mate’s bike and even told another friend to get them, so I wasn’t buying blind. Materials and packaging were spot on, no complaints there. Then I opened the right case with the cut-out and the mounting bits were missing. Support replied very slowly (emails taking four or five working days), and the parcel they eventually sent contained incorrect bits for different cases. I ended up spending about 15 hours over several days designing and making my own brackets because I had a road trip coming up. Annoying, frustrating, and I’m still waiting on one last reply from FC‑Moto.
Leather that actually behaves
Funny thing — I wasn’t expecting miracles, just a decent jacket, and I got more. The leather is proper heavy, you can feel it as soon as you put it on; not that plasticky cheap stuff. It sits well on the shoulders and somehow feels like it would survive a proper slide on tarmac, which is of course the hope rather than the plan. After a few rides a tiny seam started to come undone, annoying yes, but finding the complaints section on their site was straightforward and the email back-and-forth was surprisingly swift. They processed a full refund in days, no drama. So I’ve already ordered the same jacket again, because it looks and feels great and I trust they’ll sort any small hiccups. I’ve had poor aftercare before, so this was a surprise, and the lining feels cosy on rides.
Boots that looked promising, then not
I did my homework before buying these Belstaff boots — checked sizes, read threads, the lot — but I still had a nagging doubt about how the leather would fit. When the EU 46 / US 13 arrived, the footbed was actually spot on, which was a surprise. Trouble was the leather uppers were way too tight and the zip simply wouldn’t close, left a gap of over an inch. I tried to get help from FC‑Moto and they basically washed their hands of it, which was the worst part. Lost money on shipping both ways. If you’re thinking of buying, double‑check build quality and their returns policy first, and get clear photos before accepting — I wish I had.
Good lid, annoying extras
the helmet itself is lovely, nice finish, comfortable straight away. The annoying bits were the wait and the surprise charges. Ordered and then noticed it could be a month or two, which is annoying, and then customs added roughly half the price (yep, about 50%) so the discount felt smaller. Customer service was helpful-ish but slow, not rude, just patchy. If you want the helmet, go for it, but factor in long delivery and customs. My advice: check import fees first and be patient — you’ll get a cracking lid, but it’s not perfect.
Finally a decent one-stop shop
I wasn't expecting much when I first tried FC‑Moto.de, but it’s become my go-to for riding kit. The site has a proper range, prices are fair and buying is straightforward. I had one annoying hiccup — a side mirror arrived faulty. I sent photos as they asked and braced myself for a fight like I’ve had with other shops before. Instead Daniel Kaiser sorted things out. He tried to source the exact part, but it was out of stock. What surprised me was how smoothly they handled the refund. Full amount back, no faff, and clear communication the whole time. That level of service stood out. I’d say the gear quality is solid too. I’ll keep checking them first for anything motorcycle-related. Small downsides? Stock can be hit or miss. But after that refund and the way Daniel handled it, I’m sticking with them.
New-helmet surprise turned okay
this smells old. I’d ordered a helmet only they seemed to have stock of, so I was keen to try it straight away. First impression wasn’t great — scuffed inner padding, a crumpled tag and a manufacturing stamp that wasn’t recent. I wasn’t about to take it on track like that. I called customer service and, to be honest, I expected a fight. They were slow at first and dodged a few questions. Then things changed. After a bit of back-and-forth they agreed to a return and sent a replacement. The swap took a couple of weeks, not instant, but the second helmet was spot on. Fit was right, padding fresh, and I felt comfortable enough to use it on a short ride. That moment — when I clicked the visor into place and realised it was solid — that’s when I felt satisfied. Could they be quicker? Sure. But in the end I got what I needed, so I’m content.
Misguided “express” and a long wait
email, Facebook message, calls. Answers were slow, vague and sometimes felt like they just didn't want to deal with it — "not our problem" vibes. One reply even asked if I'd actually shipped it, after I'd already given tracking, which was a low point. So my initial doubts about shipping and support weren't really resolved. I'm out the cash and without a helmet, and I'm left disappointed rather than reassured. Bit gutted, to be honest.
Kitchen-table doubts
promised 3–5 working days turned into nearly two weeks. When the boots finally arrived they had a clear manufacturing fault on the stitching. That was annoying. I rang customer service and asked for an exchange — sensible, I thought — but they said no, only refund, and they'd refund the import VAT and postage so I could simply reorder. That sounded reasonable on the phone, but once I returned the pair the money that came back was less than what I had paid overall. So, trust shattered a bit. The boots themselves, once sorted (I did reorder), are fine for daily riding, comfortable enough, not perfect but good. The process, though, left a bad taste: slow delivery, poor handling of a defect, and confusing refunds. If you’re in Switzerland or outside the EU, be prepared for hassle. Useful product, shaky service.
Not worth the hassle for US buyers
because there was either no customs declaration attached or the description was vague, DHL said I had to pay a large fee for them to process and release the parcel. I ended up spending an extra $866.26 on top of what I’d already paid. There were official taxes too — about $230 — which is fine, I accept that. But the additional $600+ fees felt like a penalty for paperwork that should have been handled properly by the shipper. I spent ages on calls and emails with DHL during those ten days trying to get clarity and to avoid the costs, but it didn’t help.
When the jacket finally arrived it was fine — fits well, the lining seems decent and I’ve used it on a couple of short rides since. Nothing spectacular, but it does the job. Small scuff on the cuff that I didn’t expect, but that’s minor. So the product itself is okay; not perfect, not amazing, but usable.
The problem for me was the whole shipping and customer service experience. No apology, no offer to refund the extra fees, no proactive help. That lack of responsiveness left a sour taste. If you’re ordering from the US, be realistic about the risk of customs problems and potential extra charges — I would have paid more to avoid this hassle if I’d known. The jacket works, but the buying process was messy enough that I won’t order from them again. The moment I actually sighed with relief
I bought these touring boots because I’d got one of those trips lined up — long days in the saddle and an old lower-back niggle that needs decent kit. The ordering itself was fine, they sent the parcel to DHL quickly, that bit worked. Then nothing. Ten days of no movement, a pile of polite-but-pointless email replies and that awful feeling of being fobbed off. I kept writing, they kept sending the same cut‑and‑paste answers, which is strangely boring and mildly enraging at the same time. Anyway, right before I was ready to refuse the parcel out of principle, the delivery finally turned up. Which was, weirdly, where the story flips. I tried the boots on, walked around the kitchen, and that’s when I knew I was actually satisfied — like proper satisfied, not “it’s OK for the price”. They were unexpectedly comfortable straight away, no hour‑long break‑in drama, decent support for my back, and the sole felt reassuring on gravel. So yes, service was poor, communication was worse, and I nearly cancelled out of spite. But the product itself did the job and did it well, which surprised me. If you’re buying because you need solid touring boots, they might be worth it — just don’t expect anyone to chase the courier for you. Minor victory, bitter aftertaste.
Long, expensive hold-up
decent weight, comfortable lining, armour sits where it should, the zip feels solid. In use it keeps the wind out and the pockets are useful. So the product does what it’s supposed to, which is worth saying, because the rest was a mess.
Motorcycle clothing
UK buyers, BEWARE! I purchased motorcycle clothing from FCMoto as they were slightly cheaper on Idealo and Pricerunner. Delivery was quite slow and I was then contacted by UPS (courier) to say I owed another £108 for UK taxes and customs charges. I was totally unaware of this at the point of purchase. I emailed FCMoto a number of times but only had an automated reply. I then phoned them, and was told I could just reject the items but would have to pay German taxes and customs charges. I was going to lose money for no fault of my own! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU LIVE IN THE UK!
Alpinestars r10 helmet
I got my Alpinestars r10 helmet in just 4 days after ordering it. The taxes and duty were a bit more than I thought, but it didn't take away from how good the product is. I'm pleased with what I bought and thankful for how quickly it arrived.
Mesh jacket purchase
I recently bought this amazing mesh jacket from fc moto and it was absolutely brilliant! However, when it arrived, the back protector was completely damaged. I was really disappointed, but I contacted fc moto about it and they immediately sent me a replacement without me even having to request it! How fantastic is that?!
New helmet and gloves
I recently purchased a helmet and gloves from this store and they are absolutely fantastic! The customer service was outstanding. I encountered a small issue with my order, but they promptly resolved it and went the extra mile to assist me. It's clear they genuinely value their customers, which is not something you come across often. I will definitely be recommending this store to all my biker friends.
Gaerne SG22 boots ordered
I ordered a pair of Gaerne SG22 boots from this shop recently and I had a really good experience. They told me they had to order the boots from their supplier because they didn't have them in stock. I was a bit unsure about it at first, but they reassured me it wouldn't take long. I was pleasantly surprised when the boots arrived earlier than expected, on the 28th of May instead of the 4th of June as originally mentioned. I was really happy with how quickly they came and how efficient the team was. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and the service I received from the shop.
Motorcycle gear purchase
I found this website by chance while browsing online and thought I'd buy some motorcycle gear. I have to say, I was really impressed with how easy it was to place an order and how well they kept me informed about any shipping delays. The whole online shopping process was straightforward and I liked being able to narrow down my choices using filters. The descriptions of the products were really helpful and I felt well-informed when making my decision. When my order arrived, the jacket and hoodie I bought fitted perfectly and not only provided protection but also looked good. All in all, I had a really good shopping experience with this company.
Motorcycle gear purchase
The shop has a brilliant range of motorcycle gear, and I was really impressed with how fast the delivery was. I live in Hawaii, and I got my order in only three days - one for processing and two for shipping. I can't stress enough how happy I am with everything. Thanks a lot!
Available items
I've just bought some stuff from a website and was told they'd be here in 1-2 days. It's now the 1st of June and the delivery date has been pushed back to the 4th. It's not on and doesn't look good on the seller. According to UPS, they got my package just 4 days after I ordered it. I expect my orders to come on time and efficiently, so this whole thing has been a letdown.
Late delivery
My order took more than 20 days to arrive, and even after contacting customer service twice, I didn't hear anything back about my order or cancellation. Overall, my experience with this company was really disappointing.
