I made a brew and waited for a tiny bottle of oil. Nothing turned up. After a couple of weeks I disputed the $40 charge. They did get back to me and asked me to “undispute” so they could send another one — which sounded odd, but at least someone replied. I was busy and a bit wary, so I didn’t go along. Fast forward several weeks and my card was charged again for the same $40. Still no oil. No tracking, no apology, just another payment. I’ve kept screenshots of my original message proving I never received it. Weirdly, they do answer emails sometimes, which is the one faint positive; other companies would’ve either refunded straight away or shipped a replacement without the kerfuffle. It’s not all hopeless — a replacement could fix it — but right now it feels sloppy and unreliable. I’ll be cancelling the card on file and leaving honest feedback where I can.
Late-night gamble that actually worked
