Makeup purchase
The team over at Superdrug are brilliant, always so friendly and helpful. Even though I don't know all of them, Frederica really stands out to me. Her service is exceptional, she's always so caring and really makes shopping there a pleasure.
fragrance products
I popped into Superdrug at Westfield Stratford and bumped into a lovely sales assistant named Madhumita at the fragrance department. She was really friendly and ended up convincing me to buy more than I had intended. I really appreciated her recommendations on the top products and I genuinely wish her and the team all the best.
Makeup and skincare
Superdrug staff used to be quite grumpy, but now they're all super friendly and lovely. There was a lady called Sally who helped me, and she was so nice and knew a lot about makeup and skincare. It really brightened up my day going there. Thank you, Superdrug, for having such wonderful staff!
Skincare purchase
I popped into the shop to get some skincare bits, and the lady working there was really helpful and knew her stuff. She made sure I got the perfect products for my skin, going the extra mile. I was chuffed with my purchase and how great she was. You don't often get top service like that in shops nowadays, so I was well impressed. I'll definitely be going back next time I need skincare stuff.
Perfume purchase
I went to the store the other day and it was alright. The person who helped me was nice, but nothing special. They helped me pick out a perfume without any problems, but nothing amazing. It was just a normal shopping trip, nothing to write home about.
Eyeshadow palette purchase
I bought an eyeshadow palette from a shop recently and really liked the service I got. The staff were super helpful and knew their stuff, they helped me find just what I needed. The customer service was top-notch, and I can't thank them enough for being so attentive and professional. I'll definitely be coming back for more shopping in the future.
Next day click and collect service
I recently bought something online with next day click and collect, but it arrived late. I paid extra for speedy delivery, yet it took 2 days just to get on its way to the store. Today was the only day I could collect it because I'm busy with work. I expect the service I paid for to be quick and smooth. This delay was really disappointing and caused me a lot of inconvenience and frustration. Now I'm not sure if I can rely on the company's next day delivery service.
Cosmetics purchase
I've just been to the shop and bought some cosmetics. The staff were really nice, so helpful and friendly. The service was excellent, and I'll definitely be going back for more beauty products.
Facial cream for spot treatment
Pardeep suggested a facial cream for my stubborn spot, and I wasn't sure about it at first. However, I thought I'd give it a go. To my surprise, the gel really made a difference to my skin. Next time you're in the Forest Gate store, I would definitely recommend asking for skincare advice from Pardeep. She's very well-informed, patient, and so helpful. Big thanks to you, Pardeep!
Eyeliner and face cream
I popped into the store the other day to pick up some eyeliner and face cream. The products were top-notch and the staff were a great help. Rabaya, in particular, really knew their stuff and even let me know about some special deals they had going on. They were all really kind and friendly, which made my shopping trip a pleasure. I was really impressed with the level of customer service I got and I'll definitely be back to shop here again soon.
Concealer purchase
I had a lovely time at the shop thanks to the wonderful staff member who assisted me in finding the perfect concealer shade. Assia was so friendly, enthusiastic, and really knew her stuff when it came to the products. She took the time to listen to what I was looking for and gave me some fantastic suggestions. Her customer service was exceptional, and I was truly grateful for her assistance.
Beauty products
I popped into your shop the other day to pick up some beauty bits, and I have to say, I was really impressed by all the products you had on offer. But, unfortunately, I didn't have the best experience with one of your staff members. They made me feel like I was bothering them just by buying something or asking a question. This kind of customer service isn't on and can really spoil the whole shopping trip for people.
Makeup products
The staff in the store were really unhelpful when I asked about a certain makeup brand, they said it was discontinued and not in stock. But Inioluwa went the extra mile to help me find the products I wanted. She spotted them at the end of a shelf and made sure I could buy them. Her commitment and attention made my shopping trip so much better.
My lipstick
I popped over to the shop earlier and picked up this fabulous new lipstick. The lady who served me was lovely and super helpful. She answered all my questions and even guided me to the perfect shade for me!
Lip balm and hand sanitizer
I popped down to the shop earlier and picked up some lip balm and hand sanitizer. The lady who assisted us was called Fatiha, and she was lovely. She had a big smile on her face and was really patient while we made up our minds on what to buy. Big thanks to you, Fatiha, for being so awesome!
Skincare products
I just wanted to say, the customer service at this shop is really great. Netsanat was so helpful and friendly, it made my shopping trip a really pleasant experience. The store in Edmonton Green is well-kept and tidy, which made it simple to find everything I needed. They had a really impressive range of skincare products on offer, and Netsanat gave me some excellent recommendations tailored to my skin type. All in all, I left feeling really happy with what I bought and the service I got.
Makeup and skincare
Oh my goodness, Valerie at the store was absolutely amazing! She helped me find everything I needed and was really friendly. I easily found all my makeup and skincare products, it was like going on a treasure hunt but with makeup. This store is definitely my favourite now.
Prescription Failures
Regularly the prescription delivery would arrive unsuitably packed with minor damage.
The last time, Royal Mail delivered the prescription in a double lined plastic bag, as the original packaging had been destroyed.
I sent evidence to Superdrug, asking for the entire prescription to be replaced (as any pharmacist would do). They refused and wanted me to establish which medications were OK. I pointed out I was not a pharmacist but needed my medication within two days to avoid running out. After a week, I contacted my GP who arranged for replacement medication .
Superdrug refused to collect despite being advised I would charge a storage charge.
I lodged a review on a well-known review site, and they told me if I emailed with a provided reference, they would resolve the issue. I emailed, and they have refused to reply.
Completely unprofessional.Ensure
I have just been to collect an order from Superdrug’s truro branch only to be refused to collect. I got my wife to order some Ensure nutrient powder for my Crohn’s condition.
Under Superdrug’s terms you need to be over 18 to order this product which is fine as i’m almost 40.
The staff member in store told me that it has to be the person that ordered the item that has to collect it due to the age restrictions, but in the confirmation email it clearly states that someone else can collect, if they have id to prove their age, yet i was still refused. I asked to speak to a manager but was sent a team leader. I showed her the confirmation email and the terms stated only to be told that it's in a different section and that the rule does not apply.
In actual fact it is a follow on from the age restriction statement. Now either the staff dont know their own policies and terms or Superdrug need to address their terms and conditions.
The team leader even started spouting trading standards, which i dont think she really understands. All i have done is follow what Superdrug’s email confirmation terms stated and yet made to feel like ... when I’m already extremely poorly and just wanted to collect the nutrient shake to aid with my condition.
The team leader then called the customer service number to confirm her opinion, yet i dont think the customer service guy had a clue. When i was passed the phone the guy on the other end sounded confused as i dont think he knew or understood the statement in the emails.
I am going to be posting this in all review places so no one else goes into a store only to be treated this way. I suggest that Superdrug addresses this conflict between their email terms and what their staff’s interpretation of the terms are, because under trading standards rules this would come under misleading actions in consumer rights.
I will also be making a formal complaint on this matter. DisgracefulSkincare products
Absolutely abysmal - I was charged twice due to an error on your server, with two amounts coming out of my account on the 1st of March and its now the 27th of March and I have still not got my money back.. .one transaction is still pending. First I was told 3 days, then I was told 7 days.... then I was told wait another few days. Then I was told the IT team is investigating it and they'd be in touch in 10 days at the latest... 11 days later I message them and they said they still haven't heard back from them. Then they say they've cancelled the pending duplicate transaction and it should be back in my account.. still nothing.
I've been in touch with my bank and all they want is confirmation of the amount and date of the transaction and that you will not be processing it so they can release the hold earlier and I have asked for this on numerous occasions yet every. single. person. I have dealt with has been too ... to do their job!
At first I was going to let this slide and put it down to a glitch and not write a review but given the fact that NOT A SINGLE PERSON has been able to sort this I am writing this.
Give me back my money you robbing pieces of s**t - never again I tell ya!
