Right as the speaker paused, the artist was already sketching and people kept drifting over to watch — it felt like a magnet. We’d never done a live illustration at our agency, so having Ink Factory guide planning and the on-site logistics was a huge relief; they were organised and chill, and helped calm our slightly nervous client. The illustrator herself was the standout — brilliant at listening, friendly, quick, and she turned messy running commentary into beautiful boards. We now pin the physical pieces in the office and drop the digital versions into remote briefings; glad we did it.
Finally nailed it in Paris
I'd been circling the idea of this tattoo for years — one artist back home tried to put me off it. I flew to Paris and spotted Phu Phi on Instagram; her portfolio felt right, so I messaged and grabbed her opening. I was nervous, but that evaporated during the session. She took an existing motif I liked and reworked it with her own touches — tiny, precise details I wouldn't have thought of. People keep asking where I got it and how it was done; it's held up beautifully and looks better up close. Having had a mixed past with studios, I'm genuinely pleased I went for this, grateful to Phu Phi. I might book another trip.
More than just pictures
People crowded round the boards, phones up. I wasn't convinced at first — we'd tried a cheaper firm before and it was a bit flat — so I had doubts about booking Ink Factory. We used them twice this year, once for a live conference and once for a strategy session. Both times the boards turned out to be something else. They caused proper chatter during the events. Loads of attendees took pictures and said they didn’t need to scribble notes. That surprised me. We’ve turned the images into note cards for follow-up and into marketing material. The actual boards now sit around our offices. They’ve become a talking point. Service was smooth and on time. Would use them again.

Phu Phi was proper professional but not stiff, gave us space to fiddle with the ideas and then sketched something that made me go, hmm, yeah, that's it. That was the moment I knew we were in good hands — when the sketch clicked and I felt silly for doubting. The studio sits in a lively bit of Paris with decent places to eat, so the whole thing felt part of the trip rather than a rush job. Appointments were easy to set up (we looked on Sunday, booked for Tuesday and Thursday), she kept to the times and still found moments to chat through details. No pressure, no rushing, just good conversation and tidy work. We're really pleased — simple as that, happy with how it turned out.

I was in Paris for a trip and, after missing my first slot, I wasn't expecting much — but the moment Phu Phi wiped the stencil away and I saw that crisp fine line, I relaxed. She squeezed me in last minute before my flight (others wouldn't), lovely precise work and smiling.
Tiny lines, big smile
I wandered in a bit nervous and left grinning. They did very thin single-needle lines, really sharp and delicate, exactly the minimalist look I wanted. The artist was calm and chatty. Not totally painless — a dull buzz — and there was a short wait, but the result beats other shops I've tried.
