I wandered in a bit nervous and left grinning. They did very thin single-needle lines, really sharp and delicate, exactly the minimalist look I wanted. The artist was calm and chatty. Not totally painless — a dull buzz — and there was a short wait, but the result beats other shops I've tried.
Mid-session surprise
Halfway through the session I could tell this would be different — not rushed, careful. I started it last week and the ink settled into the skin nicely; it felt odd at first, little sore, but the lines sit well now and the colour came through better than I expected.
Matching job, no regrets
Honestly, best decision I’d go back in a heartbeat. She even worked on her day off so my sister and I could get matching pieces, which already showed she cares. I went in last month and my first thought was how calm the studio felt. She took her time, double-checked everything and the line work is really neat, exactly the minimalist look we wanted. Felt looked after the whole way, emotional even; decent price for care. I kept fiddling with the stencil, silly me, and she was patient.
Pavement gamble paid off
Standing on a rainy Paris pavement, half-expecting an overpriced tourist trap, I plucked up the courage to go in. I'd done an AI search back in New York and this studio (and Phu Phi) kept coming up, but I was a bit wary — would they fit me in? I was off to Amsterdam the next day. She couldn't take me straight away but really bent over backwards to slot me in early the next morning. The fine-line lettering is absurdly neat, looks almost unreal. The shop's got good music, cool art on the walls, and she kept me chatting which calmed me down (nerves and all that). Started sceptical, left properly chuffed. Would tell a mate to go.
A pleasant surprise mid-print
I swapped two and both showed full enough to get through a week of photos and invoices without drama. Colours on family photos looked brighter than I'd guessed, which made me smile. I use them for day-to-day home office stuff and occasional photo printing; they've slotted into that routine easily. Only tiny snag was one cartridge needed a second push to seat properly — not ideal but easily fixed. Delivery was quick too, and the price point makes it worth stocking up. All in all, pleasantly surprised, would consider buying again.
Booked again, no regrets
I knew straight away I'd come back — that sounds dramatic but it's true. Booking beforehand and messaging Phu Phi before my holiday made everything so chill; she nailed the design I had in my head, tiny fine-line work for my two pups and a little nod to a trip with my son. I was nervous because I'd only ever had dodgy experiences at other shops, but here the reminders, the clear directions and the little prep tips meant I actually found the place first time. It wasn't flawless — a bit of waiting and the studio was small — but the result was perfect for me. Friendly, attentive, and proper skilled. If I get back to Paris, she's getting another booking. Really glad I booked there.

I was really pleased by how fast my order got here. Though I haven't had a chance to try out the cartridges, so I can't give a full rating just yet.
Refund process
The company sorted me out with a refund just like they said they would, so I can't complain about that. However, it did take a bit longer than I thought it would - 14 days in total.

I really enjoy getting pens and notebooks from this place because the free delivery is great! I just don't see the point in paying extra for delivery and worrying if my stuff will even arrive. That would be awful. If that ever happened, I probably wouldn't bother coming back. So, please, keep the free delivery!
