Sushi, Ramen, and Matcha Tea
As someone who loves Japanese food, I've been wanting to try Japanese Taste for a while. Even though I had heard some mixed reviews, I decided to give it a go and make an order. I was really impressed by how efficient and reliable the service was. It only took 6 hours from when I placed my order to when it was shipped. The delivery only took 4 days, and everything arrived in perfect condition. The quality of the products really made the whole dining experience better.
Japanese food order
I thought I'd give this place a try, even with some iffy reviews, and I'm glad I did. I ordered on the 3rd of February and got my stuff by the 8th of February. That's pretty speedy considering the weekend and customs hold-ups, especially sending it all the way to Germany with DHL Express. I also liked that I could pay the import taxes online for convenience. People moaning about the extra charges for import taxes don't seem to get it - that's just how importing goods works. You've got to know your country's customs rules before you start ordering stuff.
Japanese snacks and tea
So, I bought some Japanese snacks and tea from this website not long ago, and I can't say I was chuffed with the whole experience, to be honest. The stuff itself was decent, but I was proper miffed when I got hit with extra taxes and fees after I'd already sealed the deal. Fair enough, I was expecting to cough up for taxes and shipping being based in the UK, but getting taxed twice on top of pricey goods? Nah, mate, not cool. Anyway, I've come across other sites that are straight up about these extra costs, so now I'm a bit hesitant about giving this site another go in the future.

Recently, I ordered 4 boxes of chocolate-covered potato chips from a website. I was pretty happy with the whole experience. The product turned up in its original packaging and was exactly what I wanted. The only downside was that it took a little longer than expected to arrive. I get that maybe it was because of lots of stuff being sent out, but I wish there had been more info about this on the website.
Order confirmation delay
I bought something from Japanese Taste the other day and it took a while for me to get an order confirmation. I was a bit worried at first, but their customer service team got back to me quickly when I asked about it and gave me the tracking number for my parcel. The package arrived on 02/07 and everything was nicely packed and in great condition. It was a bit annoying waiting for the tracking number, but overall it was a good experience.

I was really let down by the service I got from this company. I placed my order on the 2nd of September 2024 and then didn't hear anything for a full three weeks! No updates, no messages, absolutely nothing. I was left in the dark until I randomly got an email saying my order was ready. I know things can sometimes take longer than planned, but three weeks of complete silence is just not on.

I ordered some sushi rolls from this place and it was a total disaster! They charged me too much and didn't give me the discount they said they would. On top of that, they sent me sushi that had already been opened and half of it was missing! I tried emailing them to find out what happened, but they completely ignored me.
