I started using the Britannia cue and case last week, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much beyond a decent basic set for the money. The cue felt solid straight away though, and the case is much better made than I’d imagined. The bit that really stood out was when I ordered an extension afterwards. I’d assumed I’d picked the right one, but JP Sports rang me the next day to check which cue version I had, as there are two fittings. Bit of a small thing maybe, but it stopped me ending up with the wrong part and messing about with a return. Everything arrived quickly, packed properly, and the prices seem fair. Proper helpful service, not just automated emails.
Wrong weight and no reply
I would avoid this one for now. I started using the cue as soon as it arrived, expecting the 19oz version I’d selected, but it actually weighed 17.4oz. The first impression was decent enough until I fitted an extension; the butt joint sits off, causing a noticeable sag. I contacted them through both the website and email, and so far nothing back. Bit disappointing, really.
