I set it up one evening, more curious than annoyed, thinking it’d be a laugh in the garden. The material feels okay and the pump did its job, but the ring wouldn’t sit right — all lumpy and odd-shaped. I figured a bit of water might help it settle, like some soft toys do, but it just stayed wrong. Didn’t fancy risking a proper go in it, so I emptied it and messaged the company to sort a return. That’s where things went a bit messy. They asked me to put it back together, fully fill it and then take a photo before even considering a refund. I thought that was daft — I’d already explained what was wrong — so I said no, I won’t waste water and time for a photo. Got ignored, had to chase them a week later, and even then they wanted the same photo. It’s annoying because the product could’ve been fine if it hadn’t been warped; you can tell the fabric and seams are decent. But the customer service really made the whole thing a hassle and left me feeling like they’d rather stonewall than help.
Decent delivery, dodgy hood
the parcel arrived so quickly I nearly missed the courier. Delivery was spot on, well packed, on time, no drama, which made me hopeful. Customer service were actually helpful when I emailed; they replied fairly fast, offered patches and replacement advice and weren't brusque, which you don't always get. Shame the product itself didn't live up to that promise. After a few months the so-called insulating hood split where the elastic plastic is, and the external inflatable ring sags and picks up holes, especially at joins. The supplied repair patches didn't really sort it if the leak's on a seam. All in all, I liked how they got it to me and how they dealt with me, but the design and materials feel cheap for the price. If you're buying, check the seams and ask about the inflatable ring — and maybe keep those patch kits handy.
