Four bottles of whisky from the 1990s/naughties as gifts.
I bought four bottles of whisky from this company as gifts. But when they arrived, I found out that all the corks were broken inside. I got in touch with the company and Laura suggested I use a corkscrew to get the broken corks out. I didn't think this was very helpful as it didn't acknowledge the fact that all the corks were damaged. I was disappointed with the poor packaging and the lack of care for the products they were selling.
Rare Whiskey Purchase
I was absolutely over the moon when I finally managed to get my hands on a rare whiskey that I had been searching high and low for, for what seemed like forever. Years back, I had carefully put away two bottles of this particular whiskey, only for my husband to selfishly gulp them down without a care in the world. What a massive let-down, I tell you. But all thanks to Old & Rare Whisky, I was able to track down this hard-to-find gem once more. The emotional attachment I have to this drink is indescribable, as I had been saving it for significant occasions like my kids' birthdays. When I realised just how scarce these bottles were, I set out on a mission to find them. With the assistance of this establishment, I am now able to give my son a late 40th birthday gift that is truly unique. Coincidentally, our family name is the same as the whiskey brand, making this moment even more special. It feels like fate has brought everything together for this unforgettable occasion.
Hassle-free, prompt delivery, well-packaged product
I had a really good time shopping in this store. The delivery was quick and the packaging was done well to make sure my purchase arrived safe and sound. The product was just as described and I was happy with the whole experience.
Whisky purchase
I have to admit, I was a bit unsure before buying because of some of the mixed reviews I had seen. But, I took a chance and made the order just before the Christmas rush. Much to my surprise, everything went smoothly with no problems at all. I was really happy when my package arrived quickly through DPD yesterday. The bottle was definitely authentic, packaged well and sent securely. I have to say, I am really happy with the service I received from this company.
Bought whisky
I recently bought whisky from this place and I was really impressed with the service. The lady I spoke to on the phone, Laura, was amazingly helpful in resolving my issue. When my whisky arrived, it came quickly and was packaged really well - the box looked brand new. I was so happy with my purchase! 😊

Having a passion for whisky, I recently treated myself to a special bottle of rare Canadian whisky from Old & Rare Whisky. Ordering online was simple, their website was easy to use, allowing me to pick out exactly what I wanted without any hassle. The delivery was quick, and my bottle arrived well-packaged to make sure it stayed safe in transit. Jura whisky bottle mix up
I bought something from Old & Rare Whisky not too long ago, but I had a problem with my order. I was expecting a bottle of Jura whisky that cost nearly £200, but I got a gift set with glasses worth £40 instead. Although I was disappointed at first, the customer service team got back to me pretty quickly, taking about 3 days to reply to my emails.
Large bottle of JD
I've been shopping with Old and Rare for a while now and I've always been really impressed with the quality of their stuff and how quick they are. But it wasn't until recently, when I had a problem with my order, that I realised just how amazing their customer service is. I had ordered a big bottle of JD that was on offer, and even though I got a message from DPD saying it was on its way, the bottle never showed up. When I got in touch with Old and Rare, they sorted it out right away and kept me updated on what they were doing to fix things.
They searched for a few days and eventually told me that the original bottle was missing, but they had found another one that was just as good, with a fancy presentation cradle. They gave me the choice of having this replacement bottle or getting a full refund, and I went for the replacement. It was sent out quickly and arrived the next morning. I was so happy with how Old and Rare dealt with everything, they really went out of their way to make sure I got a good replacement without any delay.Bells decanter
I ordered a Bells decanter from this website recently, but I'm disappointed because I didn't get my order that was supposed to arrive on the 5th of January. I sent an email to ask about my order status, and they said they would check on it. But even after sending more emails, I didn't get any replies. The poor communication and customer service have made me involve the fraud/recovery team at my credit card company to sort things out. It's a shame that my first experience with this site will also be my last.
Redbreast Mano a Lamh bottles
I've been searching high and low for these bottles for so long, and I finally tracked them down at Old & Rare Whisky! There were only 2000 bottles made back in 2015, so you can imagine how rare they are. I got in touch with them via email and Facebook, and they actually got back to me after a few days (which is fair enough as they deal with those fancy bottles worth a pretty penny). When I asked, they even sent me some photos of the bottles. I decided to make an offer to buy both bottles at a discount, and they actually agreed! It only took 3 days for my precious bottles to arrive in tip-top condition, all thanks to DPD. The service was absolutely fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with my new purchase!
Special edition Talisker whiskey for my dad's birthday
I bought a fancy bottle of Talisker whisky for my dad's birthday from this shop recently. Talisker is his absolute favourite, so I thought it would be a nice surprise to get him this special edition. I chose to buy from Old & Rare Whisky because they always have a fantastic variety of Talisker available, and as expected, they came through. Ordering was easy, and the delivery was quick, making sure I got the bottle in time for the big day. I'll definitely be going back to Old & Rare Whisky for my next purchase.
Whisky order
I had a great time ordering my whisky from Old & Rare. I placed my order on a Thursday and it arrived quickly on the next Monday. The packaging was really secure and there were no problems with the delivery. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and will definitely be ordering from them again in the future.
Nikka whisky bottle
Recently, I bought a Nikka whisky bottle from this company. Sadly, it got lost during delivery. But when I got in touch with them, they really went out of their way to fix things. The staff was so lovely, they not only upgraded my bottle but also made sure it reached me early on a Saturday morning. I was really impressed by how great their customer service was, and I can't sing their praises enough. A big thanks for coming to the rescue.
Last minute order
I really took a chance by ordering from this company last minute, even though I had some doubts after reading some not-so-great reviews. I was cutting it close to the deadline for next day delivery, but luckily I got my order in on time. I tried to get in touch with them about delivery options, but didn't hear back from them, which was a bit annoying. However, my order did turn up the very next day, but there was a tiny scrape on the case. Despite that, I'm pretty happy with the service I got from this company.
