    Second chance, mixed bag

I first spotted these on Instagram and, after a mate raved, gave them another go. Booked next‑day flowers for an event — tracking said the bouquet hadn’t even left the depot on the day, which was annoying. I chased customer service, had to ask twice, but in the end they apologised and issued a refund quicker than I expected. Not the smoothest experience, tracking was useless, yet the refund and fair price mean I might try again.

    Shrunk bunch, pricey vase

A bunch that looked great online turned out decidedly smaller. I ordered these for my mum's birthday and put them on the kitchen table, so they mattered. The picture showed a full, lush bunch. What arrived was noticeably sparser — maybe three quarters of that. That felt like bait. They also threw in a 'free' vase but padded the price, so I paid for it whether I wanted it or not. I would have happily skipped the vase and paid less. Delivery was on time though, so not all bad.

    Muddled plant delivery

soil in every corner, the little basket upended and plants lying sideways, a few leaves bruised. They felt damp and messy rather than festive, which was a shame. Serenta did sort it out the next day and replaced the worst bits, fair play, but there was no apology, no small gesture. Would have liked a bouquet or note, honestly.

    Kitchen table disappointment

Not impressed, I won't be ordering from them again. My son lives abroad and sends blooms for the kitchen table; I take photos and send them back, but this batch was a mess. I can usually do a bit of creative arranging to hide broken stems, even coax a tired bloom into looking cheerful for a day, but these arrived with leaves curling, petals browning and a few near dead. To make matters worse the gel pouch had been pierced by a bit of packaging stick and leaked sticky goo everywhere. Oddly one tiny bud survived and smelled sweet, which caught me off guard.

very similar to the website images, though a couple of stems were a bit floppy and one bloom was paler than shown (not a dealbreaker). They included straightforward care notes, I followed them, and the display lasted nearly two weeks. Not perfect, but well worth it.

    Jam-jar rescue

When the delivery finally arrived two hours late and a friend carried the package in, that’s the moment it shifted for me. I’d sent flowers to the UK plenty of times before and expected no fuss. I’d paid for a vase and what turned up was a jam jar, which my friend immediately emptied into a pottery mug to try and make it look proper. I was annoyed and sad at first, but then a bit satisfied — the blooms were fresh and my mate’s quick fix made the recipient smile. Not what I paid for, but the gesture landed.

    Unexpectedly sorted in the end

I came across these through a friend’s recommendation and I told my sister to try them when she needed flowers for a patient. I ordered blooms for a mate in hospital and at first it was a bit messy — couldn’t get anyone on the phone, no one at the ward seemed to know about a delivery, and I was waiting for any update. What made me satisfied was when, a day later, the company emailed a photo and confirmation and the friend actually rang me to say the arrangement was there and looked fine. Not perfect, because the communication was patchy and it took extra chasing, but the outcome worked and that mattered most. Could be quicker, but it did what it was meant to.

    Quietly pleased

I was halfway through arranging the vase when I realised I didn't need to worry. The bouquet had arrived in one piece, petals fresh and not the usual limp mess you sometimes get. There's a decent range to choose from and prices aren't silly, a bit reasonable. Packaging was tidy, everything cushioned, and the stems lasted longer than I'd expected — that was the moment I knew I was happy. Delivery turned up when promised. If you're fussy, allow an extra day for picking.

    Not worth the risk

don’t trust them with a special delivery. I ordered a decent bouquet of roses and baby’s breath for Valentine’s Day — paid over £50 — and it arrived at the wrong place on the 14th, at a dentist’s practice that was shut for the weekend. Serenata insisted I gave the wrong address, which I didn’t, and after chasing them I got nothing useful. We picked the flowers up on Monday and they were already dried out, with only a single twig of baby’s breath instead of the fuller bunch shown online. It felt embarrassing and pointless — not what you want on that day. They’ve stalled every attempt to sort a refund, which, frankly, seems like avoidance. My advice: take photos immediately, keep evidence, and maybe use a local florist you can speak to. A shame — I expected better.

Not great, but they sorted it in the end

I was ready to write them off, then they did enough to calm me down. I ordered a £40 bunch to surprise my wife at her office for our anniversary — I do that sort of thing regularly, bit of a routine — paid days ahead, got the delivery window e-mail and nothing else. Tracker later showed “failed delivery” and I waited, e-mailed three times, got a stock reply after 24 hours saying they’d contact the courier. Wife came home with scraggy flowers in a flat pack box, dated 07 Apr — it was 11 Apr, so clearly stuck in a van over Easter. I was annoyed, sceptical they cared. After more complaining they offered a partial refund which, oddly, made me feel they took it seriously enough. Not brilliant, but usable if you can tolerate the risk.

    Arrived on time, poor quality

they turned up when promised but the blooms were a let-down. I first heard about Serenata from a colleague, so gave them a go for Mother’s Day. Delivery was spot on. The flowers weren’t. They came packed head-down and looked tired straight away. My mum soaked them in water and tried to revive them, but by day four most of the stems were beyond saving and had to be thrown out. For the price I expected a lot more; cheap £2 tulips from the supermarket have outlived these and still look better. I raised it with customer care but hit a wall — their quality-check window is only five days and I contacted them after eight. All I was offered was an apology and no real solution. It’s a shame because the service side — getting them there on the right day — was reliable. Not everything is bad. It’s convenient and the delivery team did their job. Still, as a regular customer I’ll pause before ordering again.

    Table of tired blooms

I unwrapped them at the kitchen table, cup of tea going cold, and instantly felt a bit deflated. Husband had ordered an anniversary bouquet — nice thought, I was glad he did it — but the blooms were mostly tired, leaves brown at the edges, a few roses ok-ish and some stems losing petals. Delivery was punctual, so credit there, but the rest felt like a rush job. I needed something presentable because I had guests later and couldn't nip out (back's been playing up, so ordering seemed the sensible option). I didn't fancy the hassle of emailing customer service, sending photos, getting a scripted reply and then nothing changing, so I didn't bother. That left me rearranging stems and hiding the worst bits. For £40 plus I expected a lot more than a handful of good flowers and the rest past their best; local florists would've done better for less. I can appreciate the intention behind the gift, and I'm not angry at my husband, just annoyed at the company — dry, pragmatic disappointment.

    Not what I hoped for

30 for same‑day delivery and paid nearly fifty quid with delivery. Felt a bit stingy paying that much, but thought it was worth it for the timing. Shortly after I got a link that, tucked away, said same‑day might fail in a “small number” of UK cases. If I’d seen that up front I would have gone elsewhere — Interflora came to mind, I’ve had better luck with them before.
Anyway, I watched the tracking all day. It said “processing” for hours. I pinged the chat around 20:00 because it was getting late and I wanted to know what was going on. Later the tracker said the flowers were delivered. The recipient was told too, which ruined the surprise, and then the flowers were nowhere — not in the porch, not with the neighbours, nothing. I checked all the usual places like they advised.
Emailing them felt like banging my head. The first reply basically said there were “problems in the UK” and to check again. After another complaint they suddenly said there was no coverage in the area and cancelled the order. No proper explanation. Oddly, the tracker still showed a delivery earlier, which didn’t match what they were telling me. I assume that was a mistake or worse, a system quirk.
They were polite in messages, and eventually there was an apology, so I’m a bit grateful it didn’t turn into a bigger row, but overall it was a disappointing experience. If timing really matters, I’d give these people a wide berth. For random, non‑urgent things they might be fine, but for something important, I wouldn’t trust them.

    Slightly underwhelmed thanks

for about £35 I expected something a bit more, you know? It looked a bit sparse and a few stems were already a touch tired, whereas I could have bought a nicer bunch from the supermarket for a tenner. My wife liked the gesture — and that matters more than the flowers — but I was annoyed at the value. I tried their chat for a quick word, which went nowhere, and even the credit card company couldn’t help because they said flowers are perishable. So not a disaster, the delivery arrived and it did the job, but the customer service and the bang-for-buck weren’t great. If you’re after convenience they’re fine, but if you want quality for the price, try a local shop or ask a neighbour to pick something up.

    Not what I expected

I first found them at the top of Google when I searched for a local florist, and a mate even messaged me the link saying ‘looks good, try it’. Seemed like the easy option for our anniversary, so I ordered. Website was fine, ordering was quick — that part worked. Delivery, though, was a different story. The box arrived battered, petals bruised and stems floppy, as if it had spent the day rolling around in the back of a van. The driver literally pulled the box out and gave it a bit of a toss before handing it over. Not great for flowers, obviously.

    Wrong building, right blooms

the blooms lasted a week on the kitchen table, so they were worth something. Bigger annoyance: having to coordinate a rescue mission because of a delivery error and then have the company treat you like it’s your fault. Overall useful if you don’t need precise timing, avoid if it’s important.

    My recent flower bouquet purchase

I was really let down by the flowers I got – they were all droopy and nothing like the lovely bouquet I saw online. I got in touch with customer service, but all they gave me was a basic reply that didn't even tackle the problems I had. I'd advise anyone thinking of using this flower company to brace themselves for disappointing products and unhelpful service.

    Flower delivery

I was really happy when my flowers arrived quickly, but when they got here, I was a bit let down to see that some of the flowers weren't looking their best. Luckily, after putting them in some water, they perked up a bit. I know that ordering flowers online can sometimes mean they're not perfect, but I was hoping for better quality.

    Birthday bouquet order

I recently ordered a beautiful floral arrangement for a friend's birthday and I have to say, it was absolutely fantastic. The flowers arrived on the scheduled date, securely packaged, and they looked stunning. The communication regarding the delivery was also excellent. I must admit, I am a very happy customer.

    Flowers for mother-in-law

I absolutely love treating my mother-in-law to some flowers, especially since we don't live close by. I rely on this website twice a year and find it really user-friendly. The flowers never fail to show up right on time and looking flawless, following any specific requests I make. My mother-in-law is always pleasantly surprised by the stunning flowers and their vibrant hues. I would definitely suggest it to anyone wanting to brighten their loved ones' day with some flowers! 😊
