it isn't. The fabric is very thin, looks like summer stuff. No taped seams or any water-resistant labelling. I took it on dog walks and on my cycle commute and ended up cold and damp. It was oversized too, so I returned it. Then they charged £3.50 to send it back even though I paid £5 postage, and that wasn’t even a fast option. Customer service was slow and a bit unhelpful when I complained; felt shrugged off. I’m a bit annoyed and won’t buy from them again. Small things like that add up and leave a sour taste in the end.
Proper find
the wool, the patterns, even the factories, which felt like relief after years of buying cheap throwaway stuff that didn't last. You do pay more up front, but the finish is clean, buttons are sturdy and the jumper I got has kept its shape after several wears. There was a small surprise too: a handwritten note in the parcel, which was pleasing. They run discounts for new shoppers and sales, so I picked up bits at good prices. Delivery and returns were painless, comms clear, though one delivery was a touch late. All in all, really pleased.
Wrong item, decent jumper, awful process
not luxurious but warm enough for the commute, soft against the skin and washes okay. Fit was a bit off, sleeves long, but I still wear it for walking the dog or quick trips to the shops. The real problem is the customer side: they charged me to send the tent back and kept my delivery fee, which shouldn’t happen under UK rules. Replies to emails were slow and very generic, like copy-paste, and the whole returns timeline dragged on. So product feels fine in daily use, but dealing with returns and refunds was a grind.
Late refund relief
I was past the point of being annoyed and right in that odd in-between where you stop expecting anything until, suddenly, a refund appears — and that’s the moment I felt satisfied. I’d ordered a jumper after Christmas because it was freezing and my old one had shrunk in the wash, but the new one was a touch too big. I sent it back in early January and the tracking showed delivery on the 8th. After two polite reminder emails with zero replies I started a chargeback through my bank; only then did I get a response and the money refunded. What surprised me was how quickly it was sorted once the bank got involved — I hadn’t expected that. It would have been so simple (and much less stressful) if they’d just confirmed receipt or sent a courtesy update. In the end I got my money back, but the lack of communication left a bad taste and makes me hesitant to order again.
