Right in the middle of a sleepless week with a newborn I ordered this because I needed something roomy for breastfeeding and a bit of backache — I wasn't sure at all, worried it would be cheap or ill-fitting. The fabric is actually lovely and the cut suits feeds, so my worries mostly vanished. There's a wonky seam at the front where the zips meet and I struggled with customs, but support offered a refund and were helpful, so I'm happy overall, if not perfect.
Good tees, small quirks
soft, decent stitching, and sizing up on the oversized was smart for my third trimester. The feeding zip looks proper useful for night feeds. Not perfect — found a tiny loose thread — but I'm happy enough.
Useful bits, not flawless
Overall, I'm pleased but it's not perfect. Most pieces from Pretty Mama fit into my everyday life — nappies, school runs, evenings on the sofa — the classic cuts go with nearly everything and breastfeeding access actually works, which was a relief. Outlet buys aren't luxury, a few seams are a bit rough, but they layer well and feel proper practical. Delivery was quick and I was pleasantly surprised how soft one jumper turned out.
Comfy but bigger than I expected
solid zips, really cosy fabric and the white with pink trim looks nicer than the pictures. It is noticeably roomier though — I went for an XXL (usually 18/20) so it's more oversized than I pictured, but still love it and will buy again.
Practical jumper for outings and late feeds
a second zip pull would let me open from the bottom when I’m trying to cover up with one hand — I keep thinking there should be an option to unzip downwards, especially on late night feeds when brain is fuzzy. Also, some of the logos across the chest feel a bit bold for my taste; a small, discreet mark on the sleeve would suit me better. Price feels fair for the quality, maybe a touch high compared with plain jumpers but you’re paying for the thoughtful details and the warm, durable material. All in all I’m glad I bought it and would recommend for everyday use if you’re breastfeeding and out and about a lot.
Mostly brilliant, one dud
Overall pretty happy — jumper and tee are proper winners, the ribbed black long-sleeve though, nah, I'd skip it. I was mid-chat in my mum's kitchen when I realised every bit of fluff and hair had glued itself to that top within minutes. The jumper is cosy, the rusty orange is lovely and the breastfeeding zips are discreet, which I appreciated — practical without shouting about it, unlike some brands I've tried. The black ribbed material just picks up everything and looks tired fast. Ordering was dead easy and delivery was spot on, price feels fair. Little annoyed about that one top, but mostly pleased and I'd buy the jumper again.
