I was proper unsure before ordering — had a courier nightmare last year and mixed reviews, so I hesitated. Then the team actually chased the lost parcel, sent a replacement and kept me updated. Still slightly wary, but honestly pleasantly surprised and relieved.
Keeps dying, one surprise
one model had better battery life than advertised, so that surprised me. Still, paying this much for unreliable kit and silence from support isn’t acceptable. Would expect clearer follow-up now.
Stubborn start, sorted
It wouldn't power on initially, despite me removing the battery isolator and swapping the cells three times. I kept checking the polarity. Eventually a quick tweak of the contacts did the trick, so I'm glad it works now, a bit annoying though.
Underwhelming longevity
not worth the small saving. I first spotted this tiny bullet after a mate sent me a short video and I bought it through a reseller. To start with it was fine — compact, cute, did the job — but after a few months it got flaky: you have to screw the cap on extremely tight to get any connection and even then it was hit and miss. I kept using it very sparingly, less than once a month, so I don’t think I wore it out. After about 18 months it stopped altogether. I reached out to the company and they simply referred me to their one‑year warranty, which I know is their policy, but it still feels like poor longevity for something you barely use. Delivery and ordering were okay, packaging unremarkable, customer response polite but not helpful. Advice: pay a bit more for better build quality if you want it to last.
