don’t expect an easy refund from this retailer, but if you’re stubborn and know your rights you can get somewhere. I received a faulty spin bike and it turned into a proper faff, yet after pushing back and involving my bank I got my money back in the end — not because they were helpful, but because the process left me no choice. I unpacked and built the bike the day it arrived, tried it that evening and noticed a grinding noise and a wobble on the pedal arm straight away. First impressions were poor — looked fine in the box but felt wrong once you actually used it. I emailed them, but replies were slow and usually a copy-paste that didn’t answer my questions. They insisted it wasn’t faulty and kept directing me to a 14-day cancellation route rather than treating it as a faulty item. That meant dismantling the bike myself and paying £45 for courier return, with a warning they’d deduct for "usage" because it couldn’t be resold. I kept saying that if it’s faulty they should pay the return postage and send it back to the manufacturer, but they asked for more and more — videos of it in use, lots of photos — fully aware the packaging would be opened and it would show signs of use. Felt like they were covering themselves to avoid a full refund. I kept calm, supplied the evidence they requested, cited the Consumer Rights Act (onus is on the retailer) and, when they still refused, I raised a chargeback with my bank. That’s what finally moved things. So: warning — slow, defensive customer service and awkward returns. But practical tip: document everything, insist on your rights, and if they stonewall, involve your bank. Not a pleasant experience, but at least it didn’t become a permanent loss for me.
Wrong table, poor follow-up
I ordered the table because I wanted something low-key to practise on — friends keep inviting me round to play and my physio suggested pool as gentle movement for my back. Delivery day was odd from the start. They turned up with the wrong table. Not the right model, and crucially not the UK-style pockets I expected. I’d booked assembly, so you can imagine the hassle when they said “oops”. It took ages to get anyone to admit the mistake. Then I found out it wasn’t even a UK table but an American one. Big difference in play. That mattered to me because I wanted to learn on the same type of table my mates have.
Trampoline safety net and poles
I ordered a trampoline safety net and poles from Sport and Leisure UK recently. I placed the order on a bank holiday Monday and was hoping for it to arrive by Wednesday. Unfortunately, there was a delay with the delivery because DHL didn't come on time. Despite the setback, I was really happy with the quality of the product. The safety net and poles were easy to install and felt sturdy. Everything I needed for assembly was included in the package, which made the whole process simple. Treadmill purchase
I was really disappointed with the service I got when I bought a treadmill recently. I tried to get in touch by email, but got no reply no matter how many times I tried. When the treadmill turned up, I couldn't even try it out because the plug was broken. It took ages of emailing back and forth, about 2 to 3 weeks, before they finally came to pick up the treadmill. And now, nearly another 3 weeks have gone by and I still haven't got my money back. It's just not on, especially with everything going on at the moment, and the fact that I paid in good faith for the treadmill.
Treadmill purchase
I recently got myself a treadmill from this website. I was a bit worried at first because I saw a few bad reviews mentioning missing parts and late deliveries. But, I have to admit, my experience was way better than expected. I gave their customer service a ring and was pleasantly surprised to be put through to someone in just 2 minutes. They were really polite and told me they got my payment and that the treadmill would be delivered on time. When it finally arrived, all the parts were there in good condition. The Lontek x510 treadmill I got was even better quality than I thought, and I'm really happy with my purchase. Gotta give a shoutout to the top-notch customer service I got too.
Faulty treadmill purchase
I bought a treadmill which ended up breaking after just 3 weeks. I even tried to fix it myself using the diagrams they sent me, but no luck. So, I decided to write a letter to the directors to ask for either a refund or a replacement treadmill. Honestly, the customer service has been awful - it's like it doesn't even exist! I'm getting to the point where I might have to take this to small claims court!
Jump Trampoline
The trampoline I bought was okay, but it took absolutely ages to get delivered and was a nightmare to set up. The parts didn't fit properly and I had to really work at it to get them in place. It's all sorted now, thankfully. I got in touch with the company and all they did was send me a video of someone assembling it like it was a piece of cake.
Exercise bike purchase
Oh goodness, I was really anxious about getting my exercise bike from this place because I heard some negative comments, but honestly, it all went so smoothly! I ended up purchasing a fantastic Bluetooth bike with a 16kg flywheel, and it's top-notch quality. And to top it off, they delivered it to me free of charge the very next day! I was shocked at how affordable it was compared to other lower-grade bikes on different sites. Moreover, the delivery chap was incredibly friendly and even offered to help me carry it upstairs as it was quite heavy. Overall, fantastic service all around - I will definitely be coming back to shop here!
Exercise bike purchase
I am absolutely fed up with the poor customer service I've been getting. I've sent loads of emails and not heard anything back. The exercise bike they sent me is a real disappointment - I'm just under the maximum height but my knees keep knocking the handlebar, the pedals feel like I'm cycling on air and only occasionally catching, and the whole thing looks like it's been used before with marks everywhere. I want my money back and some explanations as soon as possible!
Faulty slate bed pool table
The pool table I bought turned out to be a real disaster. Honestly, the quality was terrible - the cloth felt more like a chunky woolly carpet, making it impossible to play on. And when I sent them videos and photos pointing out the problems, the customer service was just awful. They wouldn't admit there were any issues and even wanted to charge me for sending it back, saying I wouldn't get a full refund because it had been used. Can you believe it? Absolutely ridiculous!
Pool table purchase
I bought a really cool pool table and it got here super fast. I was a bit anxious at first because I heard some negative comments, but mine turned out to be just right. Everything was there and it's working perfectly fine.

The actual products are amazing too - really strong and perfect for getting fit. All in all, it was a fantastic experience all thanks to the fantastic customer service!
8-foot trampoline
I bought a 8-foot trampoline from this company not long ago, even though I saw some bad reviews after I bought it. Luckily, everything went smoothly with my order. The trampoline came in just 2 working days and all the parts were there, as promised. I was happy to see that the website warned about possible delays because of lots of orders, which prepared me for any issues.
Air hockey table purchase
The air hockey table I bought was a great addition to our family game room. It looks really cool, plays smoothly, and can fit lots of players at once. When it arrived, I did have a couple of problems, like some missing parts and a short cable for the blower. But, I managed to sort it all out and still have a blast with the table.
12ft trampoline
Fantastic pick for a big fella, sturdy piece that handles weight with ease. Just waiting on the ladder to be in stock. Got sent the wrong size safety net, but the customer service team sorted it out swiftly with next day delivery. All in all, brilliant purchase.

I recently bought a treadmill from your company, and I must say it's been quite disappointing. When it arrived, the packaging was all battered and some important parts were broken. To top it off, the instructions were in a language I didn't understand, which made putting it together a nightmare. Then, when I tried to use it, I had trouble downloading the app and changing the program. And don't even get me started on trying to lubricate the belt without any English instructions! Sadly, the state the treadmill arrived in means I can't even send it back. I would suggest to others to steer clear of buying from you, as the product quality and customer support were both seriously lacking.
Massage table purchase
I bought a massage table from this company not too long ago and it didn't go well. The table didn't match the details on the website so I sent it back right away, expecting my money back. But shockingly, the company won't give me a refund even though the courier says they got the table back. Their customer service is just terrible and I really recommend avoiding this company.
Bike rack purchase
I got myself a bike rack that was on sale and it turned out to be a really good deal. The delivery went without a hitch and was stress-free. When I had some queries about how to install it, the customer service team were so helpful. They really went the extra mile by giving me photos, videos, and prompt replies. I can honestly say it was a brilliant experience overall.

The delivery of the gym equipment was okay, considering everything going on with the pandemic. However, I've had some problems with the product itself. I've sent a few emails about a small amount of damage to a steel part, but I haven't heard back yet, which is really annoying. Not being able to use the gym equipment properly has made me doubt if it was worth buying. The way they've handled my questions has been pretty poor, and I'm really hoping for a solution soon.
