Honestly, this bottle earned its place in my bag. I used it for six weeks around rural Mozambique while hiking and doing fieldwork, filling up from taps and bits of water I’d normally avoid. No upset stomach, no piles of plastic bottles either. I’ve had filters from other brands clog up before, so this was a nice surprise. It just worked.
More puddle than bottle
By the second commute, my early worry about the bottle being flimsy had proved justified. I bought it for water during nursing shifts, but the crooked lid let most of it run down my uniform and onto the car seat. I was told a replacement was coming, then heard nothing for a month. A messy start but it might be alright
the filter worked fine but the lid leaked. Not great when you’re carrying it around. I emailed the seller merchandise4all and they came back fast and offered to replace the lid straight away, which was helpful. The main brand didn’t really engage, which left a sour taste. In the end the replacement fixed the leak and I could trust the bottle on the rest of the trip. So I went from sceptical to relieved. Delivery was a bit long and the whole website confusion is unnecessary, but the quick help from the reseller turned things around.
