    Decent kit, a few niggles

a decent job overall, but not flawless. Saw their kit on Instagram and a mate tipped me to give them a go. The singlet design looked fine at first, but the hip print ended up swallowed by a seam — must've shifted in sewing. Pants and hoodie look good but are thin; the hoodie tore after a couple of wears, annoyingly. Ordering was straightforward, but customer service is all automated texts and emails; hard to speak to a real designer. Bit disappointed, but usable.

Colour mix-up, but sorted in the end

I was pretty annoyed at first, but after a bit of back-and-forth I’m reasonably pleased. I ordered team singlets for our local football club a few weeks before the season and expected black — what turned up looked like charcoal. First impression when I opened the boxes was "nope". I sent a photo of the old kit, they asked me to send everything back, then initially said the colour was fine and asked me to cover return postage. Getting a sensible person on the phone was a faff — you hit a receptionist who can’t access orders and emails drip in slowly. Eventually they rechecked the photos, accepted the mistake and reprinted without charging for the remake, which I appreciated. Not flawless service, but the final outcome was acceptable and usable.

Good kit, poor timing and comms

the singlets themselves are fine, but don’t expect them fast or for the team not to be stressed. We ordered a small batch for a state meet and paid the rush fee because we had ten days and needed them on time. The conclusion up front is that XP can make a good product, but their delivery communication is unreliable — and that’s the bit that matters when you’ve got a deadline. I phoned them first to confirm the turnaround and was told it was no problem; they even said they could do them a day earlier than required. So I went ahead. Then silence. I rang the Monday before the due Thursday and got no answer. I left details with a receptionist, sent an email and a text. Late Tuesday afternoon someone finally replied saying the parcel had been shipped and they’d send a tracking number. I chased again Wednesday — nothing. Thursday morning I asked for the tracking number and was promised it later that day; nothing arrived and no delivery turned up. Friday was the same dance of calls and promises but no tracking, still no kit. We left for the tournament without them and had to use our regular singlets. After that I kept chasing daily and got patchy responses at best. Eventually they offered a full refund because they admitted the order had been made; they said they would still deliver the singlets even after the refund. They did turn up, sure, but three weeks late. Quality-wise, the items are as good as previous orders — decent fabric, good print, nothing to complain about there. The problem is the process: repeated chasing, inconsistent follow-up, and the sense that once they had the money (including the rush fee) priority slipped. If you’re organised and can wait, they’re fine. If you need something reliably quick, I wouldn’t risk it. My tip: insist on a tracking number before you agree to any rush fee, or buy locally if the deadline is fixed. I’ll probably use XP again when timing isn’t critical because I do like the product, but I’ll be much more cautious next time.

    Proper surprise

I honestly thought these would be tacky given the price but they turned out nicely — comfy, a bit stretchy and they sit right when you squat or try to get weird angles on a deadlift (so important). Ordered custom ones for the powerlifting crew and they feel like kit you'd expect to pay a lot more for. The printing was almost spot on, straps are fine but one had a tiny stitch that needed a tug — no biggie. Been training in them all week and they wash up without drama. Will use them at comps for sure.
