long, low ponytails and thicker tree-braid styles. With this package I couldn't get either; it just made a short, choppy bob that won't sit right under a coat or in a messy bun. I compared it to an 18-inch bundle I bought elsewhere and that one actually looked longer on first wear. I sent photos, tried calling, emailed repeatedly, even replied to their suggested unpacking offer — which felt like a push to spend more rather than fix the problem — and then silence. They asked for it back via mail after they sent it by FedEx; awkward and inconvenient when you work full-time and need to be out. I logged several calls, got one answer promising a callback and then nothing. It left me having to restyle the hair so it at least passed on school runs and work meetings. Annoying, basic stuff that could have been sorted quickly. In the end I returned it, but it ate time and patience. I just wanted them to be straight up about the length and offer a proper solution quickly.
Morning-saver curls
Woke up one morning and popped this on — I've been wearing it most days for about two months. First thing I noticed was how soft it felt and how the curls spring back after a wash (proper conditioner helps). Barely any shedding, I hardly see loose hairs. Feels natural and comfy for long wear.
Helpful and quick
I actually ordered one bundle, then realised it’d be tight and ordered another two days later. I messaged to ask if they could ship together, and Linn sorted it quickly — proper responsive. Delivery was quicker than I’d expected, which was a nice surprise compared with other companies that drag their feet.
Discount confusion and flaky phone line
It started off as a routine online browse — I was after a few bits for the kitchen, simple stuff for everyday use — and the sale looked decent. But when I added items to my basket the percentage didn’t match what the site promised. I used the chat, asked for someone to call me back, got nothing; the chat even said there was no one online. I then tried phoning during business hours, was asked to leave a message, only to be told the voicemail was full and then cut off. Annoying, and I was properly sceptical about ordering. In the end I emailed and, to my surprise, customer service replied the same day, explained the pricing glitch and corrected my order. So I’m glad I held off — they fixed it, albeit after a faff.
Not what I hoped for
I first spotted these on Instagram and, honestly, was buzzing — looked lush in the pics so I even tipped a mate to have a look. Ordering was dead easy and it arrived ridiculously quick, which I didn’t expect. That said, once I started washing it the brown gunk came out and I was proper surprised (not in a good way). I gave it a few rinses and a couple of strands cleaned up okay, weirdly, but most of it still looked rough and there were tiny bits clinging to the hair that made me uneasy. Bit of a shame after the flashy photos.
