plain bottle, no bold warning, nothing to shout “not for direct eye use”. After the hospital appointment, and once the immediate shock had eased, I inspected the lenses properly (with a nurse’s help) and the lenses themselves actually did their job. They’re a bit flimsy, true, and the pupil hole could be a touch smaller — my natural colour peeks through, especially with the purple and brown ones — but when I finally used a proper, clearly marked saline to rinse and wear them, they looked alright and felt fine for short stints. That was the moment I felt properly relieved: not because of the product packaging, but because the lenses did what they were meant to do once handled safely. My advice to others: don’t assume the included bottle is safe to pop straight in your eye — read it, and if in doubt discard it. And a plea to the maker: put a big, unmistakable front-label and a warning cap on that solution. It would stop someone else from having the same ordeal.
Parcel drama, but sorted in the end
double-check addresses and keep screenshots of confirmation; be persistent and be ready to chase. Slightly ridiculous I had to do so much legwork, but credit where it's due — when they finally engaged, they made it right.
Slightly surprised, but pleased
I almost didn't buy at first — had that nagging "will it be any good?" feeling because I'd read a few grumbles about slow delivery elsewhere. In the end curiosity won (and a tempting design), and I'm glad it did. I've ended up ordering quite a few pairs from them now — probably around fifty, give or take — so I think I can speak with a bit of experience.
