    Long-term buyer, now wary

Halfway through unpacking I realised this wasn't what I paid for — and that feeling never really left. I've been buying a wig from the same supplier every month for about a year because I need them for work and because of ongoing hair thinning. They used to feel substantial, had real weight, and sat right. This one arrived looking and feeling thin, more like half the volume I'd ordered. I’d asked for 300 density and what I got felt like 150 at best. You notice it straight away when you hold it, it flops differently, it doesn't sit the same on the head, and it shows under lights. It just doesn’t behave the way the other ones did.
I took photos, compared it side by side with an older wig from them, and the difference was obvious. I emailed asking them to either send the missing bundles or let me return it so they could add the extra hair — I wasn’t asking for my money back, just the product I paid for. They were firm that the wig was manufactured correctly and that they’d certified it. That felt odd because they didn't have the wig in front of them, only my pictures. I pushed about the fact that the volume, the feel and even the hair movement were different. Their replies were terse and kept repeating that the product matched the order.
At the same time I had ordered a second wig and then asked to cancel it while it was still in processing. They insisted I pay a £15 manufacturing fee to cancel. I checked their terms and conditions thoroughly and there was nothing about charging a fee for cancelling an order that hasn’t left the factory. We went back and forth for days, sending screenshots of their own policy, and it still went nowhere. In the end I’m out about $500, with one wig I don’t like and another one on the way that I’m worried will be worse.
I'm unexpectedly glad at least one of my long-term purchases had been consistent up till now — that made this all the more disappointing, but I’m grateful it wasn’t a complete disaster like arriving with glue stains or a wrong colour, which could have been worse. Still, the experience left me wary; I’ll probably look elsewhere next month unless they change how they handle these complaints and clarify their cancellation fees. For now, I feel let down but not utterly ruined.

    Bit of a mixed bag

package arrived when they said it would and it was neatly boxed, so I had hoped for the best. The real issue came with customer service. I emailed, filed a claim, explained clearly what happened and instead of a proper resolution they came back with a token offer that didn’t match the value of the wig. Felt like they were calling it “user error” without properly looking at the product. I can take responsibility if I messed up, but there were visible signs the ends had been darkened or burnt, which doesn’t point to me. One surprisingly good bit was the lace area — that actually looked high quality, which made the rest of the item’s state even more confusing. If you’re thinking of trying them, I’d say check photos closely, ask specific questions about weft condition and be ready to dispute things. I’d like them to inspect stock better and actually follow through when something’s clearly wrong. For now, I’ll be sticking with my regular sellers.
