Sat on my sofa, half expecting another no‑show, I rang at about 5pm after a different firm messed up. A mate had sent the glow.co.uk link, I was sceptical but phoned last minute — order arrived by 10am next day. Properly impressed, website was dead easy and the team were helpful, my doubts evaporated, honestly.
Left sceptical, pleasantly surprised
nicer and sturdier than I thought, colour spot on. Only gripe: the box was a bit battered.
That switch-on moment
Switching them on was the moment I knew I'd made the right call. I spotted the site after a mate sent a link; I rang about fairy lights — staff were sound. They arrived next day, packed well. One string was a bit tangled and a bulb slightly dim, but overall brilliant.
Disco ducks mixed bag
Bath halfway through and I noticed two of the three little disco ducks had stopped lighting — bit of a facepalm since they weren't cheap. My lad still loved the one that works, though, and the music's fine. If they'd lasted a bit longer I'd be happier; maybe stick to cheaper ones?
Worth the upgrade
Really happy — the second set I bought are brilliant. First I tried some cheap motion LEDs that didn't work, but Glow sent a return label and refunded straight away, which I appreciated. So I treated myself to the pricier ones from them, arrived quickly, nicely packaged and doing the job.
Nearly there, then stuck
I ordered LED lights for my wheels in May and noticed in July that I’d put the wrong house number on the form. Neighbour never got anything. Company replied a couple times and said they’d resend once the post came back, but they’ve taken the money and I’ve been waiting two and a half months. It's frustrating — I’ve had quicker fixes from smaller sellers, and oddly their last email sounded polite.
Thought it was a gimmick
I wasn't sure at first — seemed a bit gimmicky, but I'm properly chuffed I ordered. The windmills turned up quickly, neatly packed in recyclable stuff, and weirdly they actually keep the pigeons out of the garden, which was the whole point. Kids loved them at the birthday do too. Ordering was dead easy. My only wish is more colour choices, otherwise really happy with it.
Nice kit, dodgy cashback
cashback claim ignored, follow-up shrugged off and, to be blunt, denied. So, eh, product is fine, delivery top, but don't expect any cashback miracles from their end.
A bit underwhelmed
Honestly, I wouldn't buy these again — felt cheap from the get-go. I ordered a dinosaur torch and projector plus a battery Brachiosaurus lamp (about £38.89) for my nephew's birthday and tried them straight away. The lamp was flimsy, loads of plastic and you had to snap it together, not worth much. The torch looked really basic too. Unexpectedly the projector images were okay, which was a small win. Still, a shame overall.

The lamp I learned to live with
clean lines, weighty base and a soft glow that made the room feel calmer. After a couple of weeks though I spotted something odd — a coil inside had popped up on one side so it sat two inches higher than it should. It didn't stop the lamp working, but it ruined the symmetry and bothered me every time I walked past. I left a short critical review on their site. That didn't appear. When I called, they said my comment wasn't 'helpful'. Fine, I thought, the lamp still gives a lovely light and settled into the corner where the flaw isn't obvious. That's the moment I accepted it — when it actually started doing what I bought it for. Still, it's disappointing that feedback that points out imperfections gets edited away. Product works. Company could be more straight with customers.
LED Lights Purchase
The ordering was dead easy, and my stuff came really quick. But you know what, one of the LED lights I bought doesn't even work! It's a pain because I was really excited to use it, and now I've got to send it back and wait for a new one.
Battery lights
The website was dead easy to use and I found just what I was after - battery lights! The description was bang on and really helped me pick out the perfect lights for my room. The delivery was lightning fast and I had my lights in a jiffy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone on the hunt for some cool and funky lights!
Bulb purchase
I bought a bulb from this company and I have to say, I'm really impressed. It gives off just the right amount of light, unlike some others I've tried which were too bright. The quality of the product is excellent and I'm very happy with my purchase.
Solar garden lights
I recently bought some solar garden lights from this company and let me tell you, I'm so happy with them! Putting them together was a breeze, and now these 10 lights are lighting up my little garden beautifully. The shapes they make are so cool, they really give my outdoor space a special vibe. I'd definitely suggest these lights to anyone wanting to jazz up their garden or outdoor space. Cheers!
Lava lamps for my kids
I ordered a couple of lava lamps for the kids and I have to say, the delivery was super quick. The lamps are brilliant and have really created a relaxed and captivating atmosphere in the kids' rooms. However, I did have a slight problem with one of the bulbs. I got in touch by email and I was really pleased with the quick response and top-notch customer service. They quickly sent a replacement bulb, which was really nice of them. The kids and I are totally smitten with the lava lamps and I'll definitely be shopping with them again.
UV light poster
The UV light poster looks amazing when it's turned on, but it's a bit annoying because it leaves a smudgy mark on white walls when it's switched off. I was a bit let down by this, as I was expecting it to be completely clear when not in use. However, the poster is actually really good quality and does what it's supposed to do under UV light.
Quick, well-packed, pleased
I just bought some stuff from this company and I have to say, I'm really impressed with the service. The things I ordered came super fast and were packed really well, so they arrived in perfect condition. The quality of the products was top-notch too. The updates they sent during the ordering and delivery were spot on - just enough to keep me in the loop without bombarding me. I'll definitely be shopping here again and would recommend this company to anyone.
Retro blob lava lamps
I received two retro blob lava lamps for Christmas and they were amazing! They looked really nice and functioned perfectly. Sadly, one of the bottles got dropped on Christmas Day and it broke. I got in touch with the company and they were extremely kind, sending me a replacement bottle without any trouble. Their customer service was top-notch and I really appreciated their assistance. Thank you so much!
Cute torches for my daughters
I bought these cute torches for my daughters and they love them. The torches are really nice and soft, just right for little hands to hold. The customer service from this company was great. They gave me a call to check my order and make sure there were no mistakes, which I thought was kind. Because of this, they put both my orders together and saved me some money on delivery. This meant my kids could have a little something extra with their Christmas money, which was a lovely surprise for them.
