My Ma was an alcoholic. She has become so addicted to alcohol that she could drink up a river of wine if offered one. Gradually she became helpless, aggressive and was loosing herself. She would get drunk and wee on herself. The house was constantly in a mess. She lost friends as everyone avoided her. She became a recluse and her mental health was in a bad state. We tried all we could to stop her from drinking but each time she goes back to drinking. We visited many therapists and mental health doctors yet there was no improvement until we decided to sign up with Help 4 Addiction. Their services so far have been helpful and my Ma is gradually becoming her old bubbly self. She has quit alcohol for good and we cannot thank Help 4 Addiction enough. I recommend Help 4 Addiction to anyone who is dealing with any form of addiction and needs rehabilitation.

Geeky son going rehab

Help 4 Addiction really saved me! They guided me through an 8-day detox from Alcohol at home, and it was incredible. Dr Iqbal was kind and empathetic, making me feel at ease. Home Detox and Online Therapy
I reached out to this company for help with my drinking problem and decided to go for Home Detox and Online Therapy. At first, I was feeling positive and eager to get the assistance I needed. But things took a turn for the worse pretty quickly. The sales process went smoothly, but I wasn't given the level of personalised support that was promised to me. The therapy sessions were rigid and didn't fit around my busy schedule, and the counsellor didn't seem to care much about my worries. I had to really push for more tailored care, and even then, I faced resistance. The lack of communication and support during the Home Detox made me feel vulnerable and isolated. The only good thing was the doctor who offered some valuable advice and support. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone looking for help with addiction.

They were so professional and discreet. I needed help, and they really came through for me. I don't want to get into the specifics, but they really went the extra mile, and I can't thank them enough. They made a difficult time a bit easier for me.

Addiction treatment programme
I finished a programme for addiction treatment with this service recently, and to be honest, it was a bit disappointing. The staff there made me feel small and treated me like a child, not being fair with the rules. Most of the sessions were uncomfortable, and I didn't find them useful - it felt like they were just reading slides from a PowerPoint. On top of that, someone even wrongly accused me of having an eating disorder, which was totally out of line. In the end, it seemed like the whole thing was just about making money, and it didn't really help me on my path to recovery.
Brain injury rehabilitation therapy
I was really let down by the brain injury rehabilitation therapy I got. I paid a big £2495 for the treatment, but it was totally not worth it. The therapists weren't very good at their job and didn't give me any useful advice or support in my sessions. It was obvious to me that they didn't really care about helping us, just about getting our money. I think I would have been better off spending my money on one-on-one counselling instead. I definitely wouldn't suggest this therapy to anyone who really needs help.

I can't thank the person who supported me enough for their daily phone calls when I was recovering. Their encouragement and sense of humour really kept me going and they even suggested I go to AA meetings, which really helped me a lot.
