I was sceptical before cashing out, and those doubts stuck when my account got closed and points disappeared; customer replies were slow, not impressed, sadly.
My inbox won't quit
Kept getting emails I never signed up for; I emailed them to be taken off the list but they ignored me. Oddly my order arrived quickly, which was nice.
Almost walked away, glad I didn’t
Was proper worried about cashing out — it kept asking me to contact support and looped, needed the cash for rent. Turns out a quick reply fixed it, phew.
Strange stop in service
Started off using it on my commute, slotting surveys between emails and making tea. Then some surveys weirdly redirected to my crypto account. I reported it, support replied, then poof — no more surveys delivered, quite odd.
Relief at last
Started using it a couple of weeks ago, filled in a load of surveys and honestly I was a bit sceptical at first. First impression was clunky, but when the promised reward finally showed up — that’s the moment I relaxed. Proper pleased it worked, a relief really, would recommend cautiously.
Tiny returns, poor support
I signed up because I needed a bit of extra cash after moving and paying for a physio appointment. The site screened me out of most surveys, payouts were tiny, and support never replied — well, only automated emails. Dry experience, felt like I wasted time, a bit fed up but not surprised.
Not worth the faff
they blocked my account saying I broke rules and customer support was slow and vague. Delivery of promised rewards felt unreliable, though I still use it occasionally.
Nearly gave up, but it paid out
Thought it was dodgy at first — I'd been plugging away at surveys for months to save up for my daughter's birthday present, half expecting to be ghosted. Logging in felt clunky, points didn't always show, and support was slow. After a proper chase and a couple of awkward emails they eventually honoured the payout, not smoothly but it worked in the end. Bit frustrating but ultimately relieved.
Surprisingly decent find
I stumbled on this site after a mate sent me the link and I gave it a go — bit sceptical at first but the surveys felt straightforward and the interface pleasant to use. I cashed out about £42 after two weeks, which isn't bad. There were pauses while my account was reviewed but support sorted it eventually. Glad I tried it; would recommend to friends.
Needed chasing, ended up alright
On a slow evening I clicked a link a mate sent me and was immediately sceptical — seemed like they push you toward a high payout then throw up screens. I almost walked away at that point, lots of surveys booted me. Then my account got frozen once I had some earnings (they said I’d answered only single letters). I complained, asked for my data under GDPR and — after a couple of awkward emails — they were responsive, explained themselves and released the balance. Still clunky, but my doubts are actually largely gone now.
Patchy survey delivery
Woke up to half my survey links blocked by a browser protector I paid for. I use Luxsurveys for a bit of pocket money and quick tasks between work and school runs, so interruptions matter. Some surveys load fine, others get flagged as risky. Support didn't give a clear answer, and delivery of invites seems hit or miss. Annoying but still usable sometimes.
Nearly put me off
Wasn't sure at first — these survey sites have dodgy reputations and I kept thinking they'd boot me before I ever saw a penny. Used it during lunchbreaks and evenings while saving up for small treats, and actually the interface is dead simple (which helped). I still check my account nervously, but payouts came through when expected and surveys matched my interests. So yes, sceptical at start, pleasantly surprised in the end. Not perfect — a few repeats — but useful for a bit of extra cash.
That little payout moment
Halfway through a rubbish week I clicked back onto the survey site my mate had mentioned on a group chat and, to be honest, didn’t expect much. I’d been filling surveys in odd pockets of time for months and had about twenty-something quid building up. The exact moment I knew I was actually satisfied was when an email arrived saying my cash-out had cleared and a small sum landed in my bank two days later — felt oddly celebratory. I’d braced for a runaround but support surprised me with a quick, helpful reply and they even sorted a tiny hiccup without faff. Some surveys are a bit dull and repetitive, sure, but that unexpected fast payment and decent support changed my tune. Will keep it for spare minutes.
Oddly long wait
So there I was, weeks after finishing a bunch of surveys, clicking the link because the message had said 'congratulations — you will receive credit within a few days'. It’s nearly four weeks now and the cash hasn’t shown up. I emailed and got a short reply saying the surveys 'may have failed quality check'. Fair enough, but all of them? And why promise quick credit at the end then? Other sites sort credits in a couple of days, so this felt sloppy. Not a disaster — site works — but customer care needs to be clearer.
Sofa-thoughts about surveys
I sat there with my tea, half convinced this site was another “too-good-to-be-true” trap — I’ve been burned before, so was sceptical to say the least. Signed up, did loads of surveys over a couple of weeks and then waited. Nothing showed in my transaction history, which felt a bit odd, and support’s answer was vague — basically that some surveys supposedly didn’t pass quality checks. That didn’t really comfort me. On the plus side, the interface is straightforward and I did get a couple of small payouts eventually, so it isn’t all doom. But the constant stream of invites only to be screened out is frustrating — you spend time, then get booted for “not fitting criteria”. Other sites I’ve used pay faster and explain things clearer, so that’s in my head when I decide whether to bother here. Slightly hopeful, slightly annoyed; I might dip in now and then, but I’m not fully trusting them yet.
Tea-and-surveys kind of morning
a few surveys kept booting me out halfway through and I couldn't log back in. To make matters worse I was dealing with a family thing at the time and only got round to emailing them later. They did reply eventually and, while the first message wasn’t brilliant (they suggested I was rushing), the follow-up was useful and polite and they did check the balance I’d left in the account. So I’m relieved that was sorted in the end — it took a little nudging, but their support team did sort it out and the payment was processed.
That said, don’t expect great money — some surveys pay barely anything for the time, which is annoying and worth flagging. My tip: if something weird happens, keep copies of your messages and be persistent with support; it helped me. Overall, I’m glad I stuck with them because the service eventually came through and delivery of my payout happened, just not instantly. Friendly enough now, and I’d use them again, but be prepared to chase if needed.Paid then accused
I joined this survey site a couple of years back for a bit of pocket money while I was saving up for a small move. Mostly it was fine — surveys come and go, some you lose after spending time on them, that’s normal. What caught me off guard recently was the way support spoke to me. I couldn’t log in, asked for help, and was told I had two accounts and that I rush through surveys and give poor answers. That felt accusatory and blunt, especially as I’d just been paid for 63 surveys the week before. So on the one hand they do actually pay, and quickly — that was a pleasant surprise, honestly. On the other hand they’ve just let me cash out £37 and now I’m worried that will be reversed or held because of their “two accounts” claim. I’m not arguing I never get screened out — I do — but I’ve used plenty of survey sites and I haven’t been talked to like that. Needed the cash for moving costs, so it’s frustrating to have three weeks’ worth of work potentially wasted. If you use them, just be aware support can be blunt and decisions don’t always feel transparent.
Unexpected fees
I was really surprised when Lux Surveys told me that they only pay out through PayPal, but I don't actually have a PayPal account. Because of this, I'd end up having to pay quite a bit in fees just to get my earnings. This policy doesn't seem very fair and could be a big problem for customers who don't use PayPal. It's annoying to think that there might be sneaky fees hiding in something that should be simple and easy.
Annoying emails
Oh my goodness, Lux Surveys keeps sending me emails even though I never signed up with them. I tried sending them an email to ask them to stop but they are not listening. It's really getting on my nerves!
Online survey experience
It's really disappointing when you find a company pretending to be a legit survey provider but actually doesn't deliver on their promises. Relying on outside survey providers like Your-Surveys and SSI makes me doubt the quality and authenticity of the surveys they offer. I tried a survey from Your-Surveys and the questions didn't make sense at all, it was a letdown. And then getting demoted for supposedly poor quality entries just showed me how little they value participants. So, I decided to just delete my account - it seemed like the best thing to do. Overall, a really frustrating and unsatisfying experience.
