Honestly, I ended up far more impressed by the way this was handled than I expected. I started using the doll after it arrived and did the usual once-over, then washed it before first use. At first it looked absolutely fine, although it still felt slightly oily afterwards. I thought a bit more renewal powder would sort that out, but while applying it I noticed a problem in the crease between the buttocks. Bit of a frustrating discovery, especially after everything else seemed okay. Support were easy to deal with, which made a big difference. They offered a few ways forward and I initially picked the free repair kit, thinking I’d have a go myself. They also sent a repair video by email. I watched it more than once, but yeah, my attempt wasn’t anywhere near as tidy as theirs. When I got back in touch, they didn’t mess me about and arranged a replacement. The new doll arrived in good condition, no repair needed. The surprisingly good part was how calmly and fairly they dealt with the whole thing.
Properly impressed
padded box, styrofoam cradle and an extra PVC bag so privacy wasn’t an issue either. I’ve had a dodgy experience elsewhere where a parcel arrived battered and it put me off, but this felt different, proper care. I’m honestly pleased with all my purchases from them so far, recommend the doll and most of their range. Little bit smug now, but also relieved — that satisfying click when you realise something actually delivers on its promise.
