Bath products
I bought some bath products from this company not long ago and I have to say, I was really let down by the whole experience. The staff didn't really seem to care and weren't very helpful at all. It was clear that they didn't care much about making customers happy, which is really disappointing. The whole thing just left a bad taste in my mouth, and I definitely won't be going back there again.
Lip balm and hand cream
The lip balm and hand cream I purchased were really pricey and I've just discovered that they contain harmful ingredients! I used to love shopping at that store, but now I'm having second thoughts.
Diffuser refill purchase
I recently bought a diffuser refill online, but it turned into a nightmare. Firstly, my first order never showed up, but I got another item instead. Then, I got a huge parcel full of things I didn't even order. Trying to fix it has been a disaster. The customer service team seems clueless and ignored the fact that I never got my original order. They even made me take a photo of the box and its contents. It's so frustrating. All I want is my diffuser refill. Dealing with all this has shown me that if I didn't love the diffuser so much, I wouldn't shop here again.
Liquid hand soap
The hand soap they sell is brilliant! It smells amazing, leaves my hands feeling really soft and clean. I like how easy it is to lather up and it doesn't leave any residue. The packaging is also really nice, looks lovely in my bathroom.
Body scrub purchase
I went to a store in Manchester that was in a handy location, and the customer service I got was top-notch. The girl who was working there really knew her stuff about the products and she made sure my shopping trip was enjoyable. She was really friendly, paid attention to my needs, and made me feel special as a customer. I ended up buying a body scrub, and I have to say, it smells absolutely amazing! Not just that, but it keeps my skin feeling lovely and refreshed for days.
Black Oudh fragrance sticks diffuser
I bought the Black Oudh fragrance sticks diffuser the other day in the hopes of giving my home a nice smell. Unfortunately, I was let down when I couldn't really smell the fragrance at all. I did everything the instructions said, but still, I can't pick up anything from the diffuser. Such a waste of money, I wish I never bought it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else who is wanting a strong scent in their home.
New beauty products
I absolutely love popping into this fab shop whenever I can, the folks there are just so lovely and super helpful. They always have a little natter with me and give me the lowdown on all the bits and bobs I'm getting for my face, hair, and body. The Meadowhall crew are just amazing, they always steer me in the right direction when it comes to picking out the ideal products! I'm chuffed to bits with my new beauty haul, it's as if they can read my mind and know exactly what I'm after. Big thanks to the team!
Membership renewal struggles
I used to be a member before, but my bad memory meant I ended up signing up again. It didn't take me long to remember why I had cancelled my membership previously. I couldn't even get onto the website, just like last time. I tried to reset my password, which to be honest, I don't even remember setting up because I joined in-store. The emails I got with the reset link kept taking me to error messages about a server being hacked or an insecure connection. My internet provider even blocked the site I was trying to get to. I sent pictures of the problems to customer service, hoping for some help. I sent the pictures lots of times and explained the issue clearly. But, I didn't get the first two reset emails, and when the third one finally came, it was another useless link that didn't work. The domain was blocked because it didn't belong to the company or had been taken over by hackers trying to steal my information. How exciting... After a week of frustration, I gave up. To make matters worse, the third email was from someone in Sweden, despite the first two being in Danish. But, the content was equally unhelpful.
Car perfume set purchase
I recently bought a car air freshener set online and was disappointed by the misleading advertising. The description said the set would come with x 2 refills, but when it arrived, I discovered only one 'refill' was included, as they considered the product already in the holder a 'refill'. It was confusing and not clear. When I contacted customer service about this issue, they gave me a strange explanation of what a 'refill' was, which I thought didn't make any sense. I argued with them about their definition, but they responded in a patronising and ignorant manner, making sarcastic remarks about their 'life's a journey' slogan. Overall, I found the whole experience frustrating and unprofessional. I would advise others to be cautious of their advertising and customer service practices.
Aromatherapy candles
The candles in the shop smelled wonderful, but I was really let down by the lack of diversity in their hiring practices. The staff weren't very friendly or helpful either. I don't think I'll be going back there.
Hamam set
I got this Hamam set and the shower gel smells like petrol, I'm not even joking. It's disgusting, I can't even describe how bad it is. The shampoo isn't any better, it's got that strange smell too. And to top it off, my face went all red after using it, which is definitely not cool. I tried to take it back but they refused. I'm never buying this stuff again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Face cream and body scrub
The things I bought are really nice, you know. Like, when you put that cream on your face, it feels so good and the scrub smells really amazing! But, it's so pricey, isn't it? Who wants to splash out so much cash on beauty products?! And they use Yodel for deliveries, ugh. They couldn't even locate my house, which is strange because every other delivery person has found it fine before! What a nightmare. But they reckon they'll drop it off in 2 days, we'll have to see if they can actually pull it off.
Skincare purchase
I recently bought some skincare products, and I have to say, I was really impressed with the service I got. The lady who helped me, Sarah, was so helpful and really knew her stuff. At first, I was a bit unsure about trying something new, but Sarah listened to me and suggested products that she thought would be good for my skin. She didn't just suggest them though, she let me try them out before I decided. This kind of service is rare, and I was really grateful for it.
ING voucher
I bought an ING voucher as a customer and I have to say, I wasn't too happy with the online ordering process. I found a product I liked that was on sale and tried to buy it using the voucher code. Unfortunately, even after entering the code, I still got charged the full price. It was really annoying and made me feel let down by the whole customer service. So, I decided to shop somewhere else where I could make a purchase without any hassle with voucher redemption.
Delayed order processing
I've had a really disappointing experience with this company. Trying to get my order sorted and sent out has been a total nightmare. It's been three days now and my order still hasn't even been packed and sent from the warehouse. I haven't had any communication or updates at all, which has left me feeling frustrated and really fed up. The customer service is just pathetic - there's no care or urgency in getting things sorted. I'm getting to the point where I might have to do a chargeback with my credit card provider because I have no idea when I'll actually get the items I paid for. I would definitely tell others to steer clear of this company.
Pushy sales, unpleasant experience

Three foam shower gels
I bought three foam shower gels from this particular brand not too long ago, and I have to say, I was quite let down by the packaging. When I tried to use them, all three seemed to be clogged up or maybe broken in some way. It was so odd because the gels would start off as liquid, turn into foam, and then just leak out uncontrollably from the bottle. It made a right mess in my shower, and honestly, it just added unnecessary stress to what should have been a nice, relaxing shower. Overall, I felt like the product didn't really meet my expectations, and the whole experience just left me feeling frustrated.
Body cream
I bought some body cream from this store not long ago, and I was really disappointed to find bits of plastic in it. It's not good at all and makes me question how well they check their products for quality and hygiene. I got in touch with their customer service about it, but they didn't really apologise or offer me a refund, which wasn't great. It's now April and the issue still hasn't been sorted, which shows they're not very urgent or caring about it. This whole thing has left me feeling let down and unsure if I want to buy from them again.
Fragrance sticks gift - Rituals of Mehr duo
I was given the Rituals of Mehr duo fragrance sticks as a gift because I thought they were too expensive to buy for myself. The scent is really nice, but I can't help but think that the sticks themselves seem a bit cheap. They bend easily, dry out quickly, and don't have a luxurious look, which is a shame considering how much they cost. Overall, I was hoping for better quality considering the price.
