    Small wins, big outages

    frequent outages and flaky live chat have hit our sales and left customers hanging. It works sometimes, and it's inexpensive, but I wouldn't trust it for anything mission-critical. Try a more reliable vendor.

    Looks smart, bot not so much

    Sat down with a cuppa and tried the chat — nice clean window, proper design. Then the 'AI' kicks in and asks the same thing, over and over, a bit like a stuck record. Got through to a human eventually and that was fine, so I'm glad. Reminds me of worse bots I've met elsewhere, sadly enough.

    I was halfway through a busy morning when I noticed an extra charge for a two‑year subscription. I'd signed up last year and it looked like the system had billed me twice. Support agreed to issue a year's worth back as account credit, and they even told me — screenshots and all — that it would stay on my account for future renewals. That gave me some peace of mind, so I paused the subscription and got on with things. When I tried to reactivate a few months later the balance showed zero. I chased it up straight away. The replies were polite but vague at first. After a couple of escalations someone finally checked properly and the credit was reinstated. It took longer than it should have, but in the end they honoured what was promised. I'm relieved and actually quite pleased, because it could have become a proper mess for our accounts. Delivery of the promised credit and the eventual clarity from customer service are the highlights. Not perfect, but I appreciate the follow‑through very much overall.

    I signed up because our tiny support team was getting buried and a chat widget seemed like the obvious, quick fix — bit of hope, a bit of scepticism about subscriptions (I’m the one who always checks the T&Cs). We used it for a little while and, honestly, it felt clunky for what we needed, so in 2024 I cancelled. Support confirmed the account was closed and, fine, they said refunds weren't given; I accepted that and explicitly asked them to make sure nothing would renew.

    Surprising gem, but mind the extras

    there were extra charges I didn't expect and getting any sort of refund was a faff, which was annoying. Support helped with setup but were a bit short on the money-side answers, so not perfect. All in all I’m happy enough to keep using it because the features do what they promise and it’s reliable, but be prepared to double-check the pricing tiers and extras before you commit.
