Not what I hoped for 22 April 2026

I brought this into my everyday photo workflow thinking it would save time, but it keeps causing more work. On paper the tools promise neat automated fixes, but in practice the results feel off — skin tones look inconsistent, edges are sometimes haloed, and I end up redoing more than I accept. It’s usable for quick hobby snaps, sure, but for client portraits or wedding edits it’s hit-and-miss. I’ve tried the suggested workflow several times, tweaked settings, the lot, yet I still find patches that look unnatural and need manual correction. That’s annoying when you’ve got deadlines.
Support didn’t help much either. I raised a few specific issues and the replies were slow, often generic and didn’t solve the problem. During a site outage I asked for proof of purchase (VAT invoices) and it took ages to get a response — I even tried calling and couldn’t get through. On top of that I was advised to use a VPN, which felt like dodging the real issue and made us worry about compliance and security. That advice added stress in a tense personal situation for a colleague with family overseas, so it mattered. To be fair, the software has potential for casual use and does speed up simple tasks, but for professional work and reliable support I can’t recommend it as-is.
