I started using the new site just before a particularly busy week, expecting the usual faff with changes and logins. Honestly, it felt far less scary than I’d imagined. Kyle talked me through things without making me feel daft, which was a relief as I’m not exactly a website person. The surprising bit was seeing enquiries come in so quickly after it went live. A few little tweaks later, it still feels easy to use and properly ours. Bit like having a helpful tech mate on standby.
Good work, slightly hurried finish
I was prepared for the usual hassle when changing website providers, especially with hosting involved. In the end, the move itself was surprisingly painless. We mainly sent over the old provider’s details and WBP dealt with the rest, which was useful as this is something we rely on every day for customer enquiries and updates to the site. Kyle was easy to get hold of and didn’t make simple questions feel like a nuisance. We had a few calls, Teams meetings and plenty of emails while working out what the site needed. Replies were generally quick too, often within a couple of hours. The one thing that let it down was the final stretch. It felt like things were being wrapped up a bit too quickly, and a couple of agreed items had not actually been completed. We had to point these out and chase them, which was mildly annoying after such a smooth process. To be fair, the problems were sorted once raised. So, not flawless, but overall a solid service and better value than I expected.
Starting mid-ride
reliable, not fancy for the sake of it, and actually helpful. I liked that the team were reachable when I needed them, straightforward, no fluff. There’s a modest sense of cleverness to the product that surprised me; I didn’t expect to enjoy it so much. It’s not perfect — glaringly so — but it delivers where it counts and that’s what matters. Overall I went from sceptical to properly satisfied, and I find myself recommending it to mates who ask. If you’re hesitating like I was, just know it’s worth trying, but be ready to tweak a bit at the start.
