Oh my goodness, I am absolutely loving FoundersCard! I decided to go for the Elite membership and let me tell you, it's only been two weeks but it's already paid off big time. As a British cardholder, I have to say that the concierge service provided by the team is absolutely outstanding. I've been able to send in any request and always received quick and efficient responses. It's been extremely helpful for both my travel plans and gift shopping. The savings available through the card are really good, even though many of the offers are more focused on the US market. However, I've discovered that there are still plenty of deals for purchases in the UK and worldwide, and the team is always adding new offers for us British cardholders.
Sixt car rental purchase
I came across one offer for UK members on this FoundersCard thing, and it was for Sixt car rental. So, I thought why not, let's give it a shot. But you won't believe it, the payment screen went all wonky and froze on me! I had to try five different cards before it finally went through. And now, the transaction is just hanging around on my statement like a bad smell, with no car rental in sight! I reached out to both Sixt and FoundersCard about it, but they were as useful as a chocolate teapot. And to top it off, even after reporting the problem, the dodgy offer was still showing on the FC website! I tried again, hoping it was a glitch, but nope - same old freeze fest. FoundersCard basically just shrugged and said tough luck. So, yeah, not impressed with the service at all. Limited, faulty, and customer support? More like customer brush-off. What a waste of five hours of my life that I'll never get back. Be cautious, folks!

Benefits not as good as promised
I was really looking forward to all the cool things, but it was a bit of a disappointment in the end. The hotel I was hoping to reserve didn't have any rooms available on the FC site, so what's the use of that?! And the British Airways flights were actually cheaper on their own website! What's up with that? Most of the perks are only for Americans, so why bother? The only highlights were Virgin Atlantic and Hilton Honors, so I'd give it 2 stars.

FoundersCard was such a let down. I thought I'd get loads of great deals and discounts, but when I actually tried to use them, they weren't even real. The customer service team didn't do anything to help me out, they just ignored the problem and didn't offer any compensation. And trying to stop my subscription was a total nightmare, they made it really hard on purpose. I feel like I wasted my money on something that didn't live up to the hype at all.
