Stopped counting after the third run — I've used them three or four times to buy things in France and get them over to the UK. First time I tried it was late summer, bit nervous about customs and all that, but the parcel arrived within the week and everything was intact, so that was a relief. What I keep coming back for is the 60‑day free storage — it's useful when a seller needs more time or a delivery slot doesn't line up. Personal shopper and pickup requests are handy too; I had one item sent to a nearby collection point not on their list and they picked it up after I emailed them, which saved me a faff. That said, the costs are a sore point — their shipping prices are noticeably higher than others, almost double in my searches, and that annoys me. Also the dashboard removes processed parcels so you can't check past shipments, which is inconvenient. Not perfect, but it gets the job done.
Sceptical at first
I was a bit unsure before I ordered, kept thinking is this all smoke and mirrors. Needed somewhere to forward parcels while I moved and faffed about, so I gave Between Box a go. My doubts mostly vanished — they texted/photos when stuff arrived, repacked things sensibly and answered me quickly. Makes daily life easier, saves trips, and honestly I felt less stressed. Bit relieved, to be fair.
Quick support, no fuss
I had clothes from a couple of French shops that won’t deliver to Ireland, so I had two orders merged into one parcel. The delivery address ended up wrong at the carrier end — not sure how that happened — but I contacted customer support via their web form and they got on it straight away with UPS. They fixed the address with minimal faffing and the parcel arrived only a bit late. I’ve had worse runs with other couriers, so I was quietly pleased. Will use again next time.
Unexpectedly useful
proper, calm and always quick to reply, even with the time difference. I’d messaged her a dozen nervous questions (first time using a forwarder, obviously) and she answered like she’d handled a thousand anxious customers. There was a mix‑up with shipping costs at one point — slightly annoying — but Mona sorted most of it and even chipped in to help when I explained I’ve got a wedding coming up (yes, I told her that; people are friendly sometimes). Small thing, but that extra kindness made the whole thing feel human. For contrast, I once used another company where emails took ages and responses were curt, so this was a pleasant change. Delivery arrived in good time and the suitcase was exactly as described, so mission accomplished. If you’re picky about slick websites you might hesitate, but if you value sensible, attentive service, betweenbox is worth a go. Mild niggle about the interface aside, I’m pleased — and a bit relieved — that it all worked out.
