River Cruise
My cruise was cancelled by Riviera. Their terms and Booking conditions are clear. If they cancel a refund is sent within 14 days. Not any longer. In spite of the consumer law they are not refunding for 20 months. They are issuing a credit note which they have the audacity to call a REFUND credit note. Avoid this company like the plague. And see whether they are still in business after the corona virus epidemic.
River Cruise May 2020
Cruise cancelled by Riviera Travel due to the current situation. However refused a refund which is against their own T&Cs and the law. Offered a re-book or a credit note. Not acceptable and against the law. Will be taking legal action against the company and would advise others to think carefully before booking with Riviera. Maybe they have money flow problems and could be the next TUI.

We have just returned from an excellent cruise on the Danube. The cabin was well appointed , the food good and the staff on board excellent, especially our cruise director, Leslie. This was our first river cruise with Riviera, following two excellent escorted tours, and we look forward to our next tour in four weeks time!
The Alhambra, Granada
I would like to give thanks to our guide ( Carlos Franco) at the Alhambra.
I am deaf and Carlos went out of his way to make my visit special, his knowledge of the history and the care he takes to make sure that everyone was included, was fantastic, his diction was perfect and so easy, even for me to understand.
Carlos is everything a guide should be, knowledgeable, entertaining and at times amusing.
Thank you Carlos.A very enjoyable week
A lovely week with Riviera on Lake Como. Great hotel - Grand Hotel Caddenabria - slightly dated but clean, great staff, wonderful food and a lovely position right on the lake. A very full, interesting week. Quite a lot of travelling to fulfill the itinery though. The highlight of the trip was the wonderful time we had on the Beenina Express - well worth the 7am departure. The holiday was 'made' by our superb tour manager Matt - experienced, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, informative, always helpful and available, passionate about Italy, humorous and calm in a crisis.Top marks! Our fourth Riviera holiday - we'll be back for more!
Sri Lanka
This was a wonderful tour with excellent hotels and well planned toilet and lunch stops. Our tour guide Frances was excellent and nothing seemed to faze her. Our local guide Tikka gave us a tremendous amount of info concerning the island, it’s people and its history. We came away feeling we had seen everything. If anything was missing, I would have liked a glimpse of Colombo but well done Riviera.
