Tour to Pompeii, Capri and Bay of Naples
Our trip to Pompeii, Capri, and the Bay of Naples was amazing! It all started when we were welcomed by our tour manager at the airport, and our stay at the Grand Hotel Vesuvio was just perfect. The tours to Pompeii, Capri, and the Bay of Naples were really well organised, interesting, and fun. Our tour manager was so helpful, friendly, and full of great knowledge, which made the experience even better. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better trip!
River Rhone Cruise with itinerary changes
Our recent River Rhone Cruise was absolutely fantastic, even though there were a few unexpected changes to the schedule because of high water levels. The ship, Lord Byron, was really stunning and looked after very well by a friendly and attentive staff. The food on board was top-notch, and the local guides on our excursions were so knowledgeable, engaging, and even managed to make us laugh with their stories. The trips were all well-planned, and we never felt lost or bewildered thanks to the guides who really knew their stuff. Despite the changes to our planned route, we still had a wonderful time exploring the south of France and were kept in the loop throughout. The changes didn't spoil our overall holiday experience, and we appreciated all the updates and adjustments made by the crew.
Recent holiday in Andalucia
Our holiday in Andalucia was amazing! The tour guide was fantastic and knew so much about Spain. She was really lovely and made sure we were always looked after. When we had an issue in Granada, she went above and beyond to help us out. We will definitely consider booking another holiday with them in the future.
Enquiry and booking process
I was really impressed with how efficient and helpful the customer service team was. I had a few questions before booking my trip, and every time I called, I was connected to a real person straight away. What's more, I spoke to different people each time, and they were all really polite and helpful. The booking process was straightforward, and I liked how the reference number automatically changed to the booking number, which made it easier for me to keep everything organised.

I called them up and they were really helpful over the phone. They sorted out my trip booking for me and I paid the deposit without any issues.
Bought fifth holiday
I've just booked my fifth holiday with this company and it was a breeze. No hidden fees and Gemma was really lovely to speak with, which made the whole process even better!
River cruise booking
Me and my family thought it would be a good idea to book a river cruise over the phone. We didn't have to wait long before someone picked up our call. The person we spoke to was very fast and couldn't have been more helpful in assisting us with our choices. We were really happy with the service, it was excellent.

I booked a river cruise online, but had a bit of trouble finding the booking in my account. Luckily, the lovely folks at customer service came to the rescue and helped me finish the booking, securing the cabin we had our hearts set on.

My experience booking my holiday was fantastic. The staff member I spoke to was so helpful, knew their stuff, and really put me at ease. They gave me all the details I needed to make a good decision about my trip. Having someone like that to help when you're spending a lot on a holiday is key, and they really went above and beyond. I rang up to plan my holiday and spoke to a lady called Niki. She really knew her stuff and gave me all the info I needed. Niki made it easy for me to book and made sure I felt happy with my choice. I was really impressed with the great service from Niki and would definitely tell others to check out this company.
Amazing customer service
I just want to say that the staff I spoke to were really helpful and nice. They knew what they were talking about and made me feel so at ease. Everything seemed to come so naturally to them, like it was no trouble at all.
Booking holiday for friends and me
I was booking a holiday for myself and my friends, you know, and I had a chat with this guy named Laurie over the phone. He was really nice and helped me sort everything out. I had to book for my friends as well, and Laurie even called them to arrange their deposit. He called me back to double-check that everything was okay. The booking process was really simple and fast, and I received confirmation immediately.
My pre-cruise stay drama
Well, you know, I was trying to book a place to stay before my cruise and it was just a mess. First, one person said they couldn't help, then someone else said they could but only for 2 days. Finally, another person said they could do it for the 4 days I needed, but then they realised they didn't have a system to keep track of bookings. It was all so confusing and annoying!
Booking confirmation and account set-up delays
I made a booking over the phone not long ago, and they said I'd get a confirmation email soon. But, I never got that email, which was really annoying. Then, when I tried to send my passport details, I had to make an account first. They said they'd send an email to set it up, but it never came through. And when I did try to set up the account, they wanted me to come up with a 14-digit password, which just seemed a bit much and not needed at all.
Riviera assistant, Jessica
The Riviera assistant, Jessica, was absolutely brilliant. She answered all my questions with such knowledge and friendliness. I couldn't have asked for a better service. Her professionalism and helpfulness really made my experience with the company so positive.
Ocean cruise booking inquiry
I rang up to ask about booking a cruise in 2025 from Malta and Niki was really helpful and quick in answering all my questions. She gave me loads of details about the cruise and even sorted me out with a price for getting to the airport. I was proper impressed with how fast and well she dealt with my questions. After we finished chatting, I got an email confirming my holiday booking.
Quick and effortless booking process
I was really happy with how simple it was to book my holiday. When I rang up, someone answered straight away and they were really helpful, making everything really easy. I was impressed with the great service and I will definitely think about booking with this company again next time.
River Cruise
My cruise was cancelled by Riviera. Their terms and Booking conditions are clear. If they cancel a refund is sent within 14 days. Not any longer. In spite of the consumer law they are not refunding for 20 months. They are issuing a credit note which they have the audacity to call a REFUND credit note. Avoid this company like the plague. And see whether they are still in business after the corona virus epidemic.

Cruise cancelled by Riviera Travel due to the current situation. However refused a refund which is against their own T&Cs and the law. Offered a re-book or a credit note. Not acceptable and against the law. Will be taking legal action against the company and would advise others to think carefully before booking with Riviera. Maybe they have money flow problems and could be the next TUI.

We have just returned from an excellent cruise on the Danube. The cabin was well appointed , the food good and the staff on board excellent, especially our cruise director, Leslie. This was our first river cruise with Riviera, following two excellent escorted tours, and we look forward to our next tour in four weeks time!
