What has made this so frustrating is that I did not simply miss the flight and then ask for money back afterwards. There was a medical emergency, so I contacted FlySharp before departure to cancel the Qatar Airways booking. I emailed them and rang them, and the first message was sent within 24 hours of making the booking. I have kept the timestamps and call details because, frankly, I had a feeling this might become an argument.
