    Travel booking disaster

    My experience with this company was an absolute nightmare. I had booked a hotel through them, paid in advance, and when I arrived at the hotel, they had no record of my reservation. I had to pay again out of pocket, causing unnecessary stress and financial strain. It's infuriating to think that this could be a common occurrence, and I wish I had done more research before trusting them with my booking. The fact that they have a reputation for scamming people is despicable, and the fact that they still get away with it is even more frustrating. The whole situation left a sour taste in my mouth, and I will never use this company again.

    Cancelled flight to Kenya, refund offered

    I had a terrible time trying to get a refund for a flight to Kenya that got cancelled. I got an email about the cancellation and a refund offer, but when I called customer service, I had to wait for 2 hours before being told it could take up to a year to process. Then, after being put on hold again while they looked for other flights, my call mysteriously got cut off right at 8pm. Quite convenient timing, if I do say so myself. The next day, I decided to take matters into my own hands and contacted my credit card company because waiting a whole year for a refund is just absurd. It's absolutely ridiculous.

    Scamming and lack of loyalty bonus

    I would strongly advise against using this company! They have ripped me off for hundreds of euros by failing to keep their promise of giving me the Loyalty Bonus +. Even though I spent over 30,000 euros on hotels and flights with them last year, they never gave me the bonuses they owed me. It's absolutely shameful!

    Hotel booking issue

    I had a bit of a nightmare with a hotel booking I made six months back using an online travel website. Got confirmation emails at the time, but when I turned up for my trip, I discovered the hotel had actually shut down a year before! Trying to get in touch with customer service was a mission, they weren't helpful at all and kept asking me for proof that the hotel was closed. It was seriously annoying and let me down big time.

    The booking process for a single room on Ebookers was so frustrating and annoying. I booked a room that was meant for just one person, but when I got my confirmation, it turned out to be a shared dormitory. It was really disappointing to see such a big difference between what was advertised and what I actually got.

    Booked hotel and flight in the USA

    The company is really dodgy. I managed to book a hotel in the USA, and then got an email from the hotel itself saying they would happily give me a refund. But as soon as I contacted the company, they shifted the blame onto the hotel for not sorting out the refund. What's more, my flight for May to the USA got cancelled, and I'm still waiting for a refund. I've been messed around multiple times and the customer service is absolutely terrible. It feels like they're just trying to hold onto customers' money to keep themselves going.

I only had to pay a fee once, but it wasn't too expensive. There was a slight issue with one of the flights being cancelled, but they quickly got a supervisor to resolve it. The airline I flew with was United. I know I was a bit difficult with all the changes, but they were really patient with me.

    Fraudulent transaction experience

    This company really needs to sort out their security, it's just not good enough. I got scammed with a dodgy transaction, and sorting it out was a total nightmare. The website's loopholes made it so easy for scammers to get away with it. It's just not on that they let this kind of thing happen on their watch. The authorities need to step in and sort this out for sure.

    Ebookers doesn't have two-factor authentication, so someone managed to make two purchases worth $5000 on my account without permission. When I tried to cancel the flights, they didn't get in touch with the airline quickly, even though I could do it in one phone call. It's really not good enough as it's not safe and the customer service is pretty useless. I really wouldn't recommend using this company.

    I just had the worst experience with this travel company and the airline they booked me on! Last weekend I was meant to go to Greece, and I tried to check in for my Hahnair flight - but it was cancelled! So I called the travel company, and after waiting on hold for ages, they said they'd try to book me on another flight with the same airline. I asked for an email confirmation because I was at my friend's wedding, but it never came. I had to call again, and they told me I was getting a refund and had to find a new flight. Flights for the next day were so expensive, so I had to wait until Monday to fly back. It was so frustrating!

    Recently, I booked a hotel through an online travel agency, hoping to earn some Avios points in a promotion.     All-inclusive holiday to Lanzarote

    Just a heads up, if you're thinking about booking a package deal on this website, be careful. I booked a trip to Lanzarote that was supposed to be all-inclusive, but I was let down when I realised that the flights with easyJet did not include normal size cabin baggage. Instead, we were only allowed a small underseat bag. This meant I had to fork out an extra £90 per person for a proper carry-on bag. They didn't tell me about this extra cost beforehand, so I was pretty annoyed. I'd suggest checking the baggage allowance really thoroughly before booking anything through this site.

    Hotel booking trouble

    I've had two bad experiences booking hotels through this platform. It's one thing to have a problem once, but having it happen again is just not on. Both times, I booked and paid for my room upfront, but when I got to the hotel, they wouldn't let me stay there.     Booking a bed and breakfast in Belfast

    I booked a bed and breakfast in Belfast online, but when we got there, they said they were renovating and couldn't host us. When I got in touch with the online travel agency, they wouldn't give us our money back, which put us in a tough spot. It was really frustrating that they weren't more flexible and understanding.     Our previous provider was completely useless. So we shifted with ebookers. They are really great and sure for first timers they can surely go with this option.
    What I like is there are several services which you will love.
