we were told a replacement bus would come from New York and then later told to take an Uber with three strangers for the last hour and claim reimbursement. I’d already booked one with my boyfriend because we had an appointment, so that was messy. Since then it’s been email ping‑pong, vague replies and no refund for either the ticket or the Uber. Dry, factual: good driver, terrible follow‑up. Won’t risk it again and would warn others; I expected better handling and clearer communication.
Nearly saved my day, despite the chaos
Overall I'm glad I used them, even though it wasn't smooth. I got to where I needed to be, which mattered most. I usually use buses for work trips and the odd weekend visit, so time is everything. I arrived twenty minutes early and stood looking for an Ourbus. No sign. No logo. I asked a couple of waiting drivers if they were ours. Nothing obvious. Five minutes before departure I rang customer service. They told me the driver was running late, and then, mid-call, that he'd left. It turned out the vehicle was a different company’s bus with no Ourbus branding at all — confusing, right? Their team did try to help. They offered a later replacement and talked me through rebooking, and, surprisingly, I managed to grab a Peter Pan seat at short notice and still make my appointment. So yes, frustrating and not ideal. But the quick alternative and the fact I wasn't stranded saved me. Do label your buses, please. I’ll use them again, just with a bit more caution next time.

Little annoyed, little resigned. Tip: check which local operator handles your leg.
