I've actually used this service a couple of times now, once in the Philippines and then again in Guatemala. I must say, I was really impressed with how flexible and reliable Bookaway and the bus companies they partner with are.

May be we didn't just want a flight this time around but preferred something like bus or train. We are blessed to say that Bookaway didn't disappoint us in any way. Bus ticket fare were reasonable and topnotch customer service. Bookaway is simply reliable for travel needs.

I bought a bus ticket from Rio Dulce to Guatemala City on this website not too long ago. Everything went smoothly, and I got my ticket without any problems. But, when I found out that the actual price of the ticket was just £12.50, and I was charged over £25 by the website, I was a bit gutted. Paying more than twice the actual cost felt like a bit of a rip-off, and it left me feeling disappointed.

I recently booked a ferry ticket on here and I was really let down by the service. The ferry times they gave me were wrong, so I missed my ferry and had to pay an extra £96 to get another ticket from a different company. This made me 2 hours late getting to where I needed to be. When I complained, they said they had emailed me about the change, but I never got any email. They tried to say the email was sent on 31st April, which isn't even a real date, making them seem even less trustworthy. I kept asking about how to make a formal complaint and for proof of this mystery email, but got nowhere. Overall, my experience with this booking site was just really annoying and not what I expected at all.
