battery life could be better, but overall okay.
Clever idea, messy follow-through
the app looks clever, lots of ways to customise and even a hearing test. Trouble is, the settings don't stick. I'll tweak something, leave the room and they flip back, sometimes within minutes. I found myself constantly fishing for my phone to reset them. I did contact customer service; polite, but it didn't really fix it. They're not terrible, sound okay at times, but in the end I went back to my audiologist's over‑ear set.
Solid, no-nonsense upgrade
In short, they're an actual upgrade rather than a compromise. I started using them about ten days ago and my first impression was how light and unobtrusive they are — I forgot I had them in after an hour. Sound quality is straightforward and clear, even in a busy cafe; I no longer ask people to repeat things as much. Fitting was simple, though the battery door was a bit stiff at first and pairing the app took a minute. They don't look like medical kit, which oddly made me walk a bit taller. I use them on my commute and in meetings; they've done the job and are worth considering.

birds, distant traffic, conversation layers — all clearer, not harsh, just clearer. Customer support was straightforward and patient when I asked about model choice, which helped me decide without overthinking. Battery life was better than I expected, too. Not flawless, but exactly what I needed.
